Nice to hear that you can finally lay the matter to rest.
And good luck with the new bike.
Other than frame, battery, electrics, wheels, brake calipers, brake levers, rear brake disc, nothing else remains of my factory supplied Xtrem. It has now all gone into the bin.
Over the next coming week, the whole drive train shall be scrapped, along with the front brake disc in favour of 180mm disc. Other than replacing the calipers and levers that I have no problem with, there really isn't much else that I can now do to the bike. It's also now or rather will be, just over 2kg lighter than the OE spec bike. I'm also certainly going to be glad to see the back of the OE Shimano Alivio. It has proved to be just too unreliable for my use.
The one other thing that I wouldn't mind having is the 12ah battery, but I'm certainly not going to be paying out for that, when there is nothing wrong with my battery.
I'm also contemplating stripping down and painting the whole bike, but if I do decide to do that, it will have to wait until I have a second e-MTB, as I can't handle being without one.
My relationship with this bike has certainly been testing, but I still love every second of riding it.
