some e bikes on bay are 500 watt motors and they say they can be switched to 15,5 mph mode for legal use on the road , is that true or not thanks
I have one that I occasionally use for off roading, and I say get yourself a good 250w. Some can be tweaked to go slightly faster when off road. Research those.has any one else got a 500 or a 1000watt bike that can tell me what they think
It'll go a lot better than that Ebay kit above - especially if you put in the secret code.i bought one of these did i do right

We've had a lot of those sort of stories, but not one has turned out to be true so far. People invent them for some reason. I'm pretty sure that if it happened, we'd know about it. Ask him for details so that we can investigate.Ebike shop in Stroud, informed me a guy in London killed someone on a Stromer.
He did jail time. This is when if your illegal, even if insured through CTC your stuffed.
People have done jail time for being involved in accidents whilst riding bikes illegally, or illegal bikes (depending how you want to look at it).. its just not been an eBike yet (that I'm aware of). We've had a lot of those sort of stories, but not one has turned out to be true so far. Edit: Google shows nothing. That story is fiction.
Plenty of urban myths true. He didn't stock the Stromer..could be a pointer I guess...People have done jail time for being involved in accidents whilst riding bikes illegally, or illegal bikes (depending how you want to look at it).. its just not been an eBike yet (that I'm aware of).
We should consider why ebikes are less likely to be involved in accidents?People have done jail time for being involved in accidents whilst riding bikes illegally, or illegal bikes (depending how you want to look at it).. its just not been an eBike yet (that I'm aware of).
What makes you think they are less likely to be involved in accidents? We don't have anything to prove of disprove this... because. We should consider why ebikes are less likely to be involved in accidents?
