Some months ago my Woosh Ellios e-bike developed a problem. When I switch on the controller lights up and indicates a full battery. When I start off the bike moves an inch or two and the motor cuts out. All the controller lights go out. If I switch the battery off and then on again the lights come but the same thing happens. If I lift the back wheel off the ground the motor spins the wheel quite happily. The integral rear light lights as brightly as it always has. The open circuit voltage of the battery a week after having been charged is 40.08v. I have had a look at the controller and all the wires appear to be connected and ther is no sign of any damage or overheating.
When this first happened I contacted Woosh who informed that this bike and battery were no longer supplied. Later I emailed and asked whether one of the batteries that they still supplied could be adapted but had no response. The battery is rear rack mounted and seems to be very similar to one shown on the Woosh website.
Anybody have any ideas, other than chuck the bike in the river!
