If it were me I would check the pas wiring using the meter, however with your system you can't test at the connector. So you have two choices remove the controller lid and access the PAS wiring direct off the PCB or make a nick in the PAS wiring to allow the probes contact. It will need two people to do this
One needs to confirm that 5v is seen between 5v/Gnd usually Red/Black & once confirmed probe between Gnd and the sig wire, one should see the voltage change as the cranks are turned and the magnet passes by the sensor. A reading of 0 - 4.3v or so should be noticed pulsing as the cranks are turned.

Hi Nealh,
I do appreciate your help but I don't think I will be able to do this. I have trouble to understand what do you mean . I know nothing about this . This sound like chinesse language to me .
Is there any other way to sort this out ??
Thanks,
Ismael

The results form the above test will tell us if the PAS is at fault. We know from the walk assist that the controller does work in some capacity.

The obvious answer for anyone who can't test or know someone capable who knows what they are doing is to simply replace the complete electronics at a cost of approx. £100, but it would not help in knowing what, where or why.

You can't always buy Lishui controller let alone one with the WP connectors for unsensored hubs. One can get sensored but they are no use for you.

Post deleted.
I forgot your motor pin out connector is only 6 pin and not 8 or 9.

I haven't seen any motor controllers with the 6 pins (unsensored) Julet connector, Viking may be you best bet if you can contact them.
Mainstream ebikes tend to use the sensored 9 pins hubs whilst the cheaper small bike use you 6 pin.

Glad you found a solution. It may help others if you provide a link to the controller you got, assuming it was a oem direct replacement item.
