thats neither theft nor vandalism.... thats just careless, especially if it happens whilst just riding alongWhat about thief and vandalism?
Eg. I've lost my fromt wheel?
In either instance it isn't going to help, if the bike is stolen there is nothing to recover, if you loose the front wheel, that is just forgetfulnessWhat about thief and vandalism?
Eg. I've lost my fromt wheel?
Does that mean that all kit bikes are excluded? This insurance does not cover the following: -
Any incident where the Pedal Cycle is being used for a use not specified in the design and manufacturers specifications, or arising directly out of the unreasonable use of the Pedal Cycle on unsuitable terrain.
Good point and I'll bet you wouldn't, It all sounds a little too good to be true, it'll be interesting to see a post from someone who's used this.I think you should check with them.
Suppose you had electrical failure a very long way from home and there's some nasty hills along the way back, but you can still pedal the bike. Would you be covered?
Couldn't see that exclusion in the policy documents - where was it stated?Output not exceeding 200 w/15 mph seems to rule most e bikes out.
Dave.
I'm sure that's just because if it's over 200w / 15.5mph it's not a pedal bike it's classed as a motorbikeby the law so wouldn't be covered by this policyCouldn't see that exclusion in the policy documents - where was it stated?
In the files attached by John (JWM)Couldn't see that exclusion in the policy documents - where was it stated?
