Looking back over the years, fads have come and gone.
Flecc, do you remember the use of 'wise' in the early 60's? Such as , 'How are you doing car wise etc.'
Came, lingered, went.
I think that there is a sort of Darwinism in English in that what is useful stays, what is not falls by the wayside.
At the moment 'Absolutely' is much overworked.

Yes, and many other such fads. Some are easier to accept, but it's natural to sometimes find one particularly annoying when it's frequency of use is too high.

They are missing a trick with the Caraok.

They should make the unit to fit inside of standard wheel barrow dropouts, and have a restricted throttle and handle bar grip.

The marketing potential for a retro fit powered wheelbarrow, would surely be bigger than it currently is as a pointless toy. Even I might buy one to replace the electric golf buggy that I currently use as an on site barrow.

if they made the gyro much stronger and gave it a much more robust tyre it could have a military application - as transport for special forces. the psychological impact of a section of marines approachinig on caraoks could be devastating.

And very sensible of the Italians too, the Arabs also have a reputation for it. What we need now is for all peoples to join in that, leaving their idiotic leaders to actually fight out their differences in person instead of cowardly employing their innocent peoples to do it for them.
