OK, so the one I'm about to buy that I posted will not take 52V supply and melt despite saying it can take 12V-80V DC?
Buy two and connect in series? If one does work at 52V, you've got a spare. Brighter with two.

Spec says 12V-80V. Any shite from them and it will go back!
Buy two, they'll get 26V each connected in series, and the road surface ahead will be nice and bright. Their beams are wider than the smaller ebay ones, there will be a more even illumination. The narrower beams are useful for projecting light further out ahead, more useful for motorbike speeds. I don't need to adjust mine when going downhill fast anymore, they're positioned just right for fast or slow. Easy to tilt/turn while riding.

Real estate was probably a deciding factor too.
The cheapo carbon extension bar I bought kept slipping with anything substantially heavier than nothing attached. My Minoura is a lot better. The design of the new Minoura extension bar looks tighter clamping - mine is tightened using the bolt, up to point. Tighten too much, and you can't attach using the clasp. On the new one, looks like they've dispensed with the clasp, and all tightening is done via the bolt. The bar can be oriented vertically: simply undo another bolt and swivel, then tighten that bolt.

No.4 "AUXMOTEC White 3Inch 40w" looks OTT.

Also No.6 "Kairiyard LED Pod 3inch Round 60W 6000K Super Bright Driving Lights 6000lm Cree LED Off Road Light Bar High Beam Auxiliary Light for Motorcycle SUV UTV ATV Truck Harvester"

Seems cheaper versions of #4 and #6 may be available on AliExpress, just branded differently. A bit much for my uses, asking for attack by rozzers weilding telephone directories in small dark locked rooms while being tasered, after repeadly falling down stairs, also while being tasered.

Ah, telephone directories, that brings back a bit of nostalgia! Hehe
You'll be gone before they've got their vision back with those lights, ahhh, bright!? :)

These look very similar to light No.4 "AUXMOTEC White 3 Inch 40W" featured in the video. I reckon they'd drain my battery too fast:

If not, I bet they're available somewhere, maybe cheaper and branded differently.

Got my first AliE package today....not impressed with the 'packaging', look at state of box...

Pedal is fine, it's got a foam border in box so no damage but c'mon, if it was more expensive gear I want the box perfect in case I resell...

Did a bunch of boxes and bags arrive jostling about loose in a larger bag? They usually do. I'm wondering how well packaged the two 20" wheel rims I've ordered from AliExpress will be  Wheels have always arrived from CH Whites and BankruptBikeParts packaged well, protected by heavy cardboard. CH Whites in particular, because they stuff in lengths of pool noodle or pipe lagging.

Nope, only one arrived so far...and one of my packages has a mirror in it....

You will find out soon enough if they've packaged it appropriately, I got my 8 days delivery in 7 days, where they are shipping them from, I don't know, how do they get to West Midlands Royal Mail? o_O

Daft enough to install the app on phone to track packages, now getting spammed in to clicking daily for 'coins'....whatever they are, gamification is old and rubbish, what are they doing....?

Oh no, you'll probably be called up by "Your bank" next.

I hate it when they print my bloody phone number on the address label - I only noticed that the other day. And when my photo is snapped when AliExpress packages are delivered.

BTW, here's another boring vid showing the effectivenociousness of my headlights:

The state of how the box arrives is not the fault Ali Exp or the seller, ultimately it is the courier and could easily be down to one of the UK couriers who all suffer from poor handling/care of parcels.

Well if box is damaged yes will never know who the villain was, however what I really DO NOT LIKE is when they stick shipping labels DIRECTLY on to the box...you can see two of the lights boxes above have the sticker that will never come off plastered all over them, doesn't make for a very nice 'present' does it, they also did this to a not cheap MIDI controller keyboard box I bought last year knocking £20 of resale value...

The M-VAVE wireless radio is nuts, can walk around flat with guitar blasting out distortion from amp in living room...sooo much fun....seems to have a decent range as old tenement walls are thick, also liking the small case that charges the Tx and Rx and also it will charge them fully twice from the battery in the case, pretty cool, you can run 4 sets of them together so will be buying more! Has 1/4inch adapter on top of 3.5mm so you can basically make any audio device wireless
So far: 10/10

Rowin Nano flanger pedal is decent too, I can get the two effects I want so for a tenner....nuts...these pedals are £30 pretty much everywhere in UK!
So far: 8.5/10 - marked down as it's a little noisy however that could be signal chain and my fault

The front headlight in pic (two of them), seems decent quality plastic and is bloody bright, nowhere to put it yet though as not sorted out handle bar too busy problem. It comes with a remote cable and button for the audio 'bell' not that loud and makes some strange noises but seeing as I don't have a bell...
So far: 9/10 - based solely on initial impressions

Lekato looper pedal I got yesterday (in bashed box), is great fun when you get the hang of it and quite powerful too for what it is once you get your head around the foot pedal taps to start/record/stop/delete last overdub etc. USB too (shows as a folder), have already downloaded my first loop song I made, what you can also do (not tried yet), is load in a .wav file (even a full song), in to the pedal and it will play this back as a loop so you practice over the top and write/practice guitar parts, solos etc. The Lekato CubeBaby and Tank multiFX boards also have BT so can play a drum loop from drum machine on phone in to looper - now you've got a looper pedal with drums!!
EDIT: - also has a built in tuner that works well, now I have three pedals that are also double as tuners...
So far: 9/10 -you need to be nifty with your foot to get best from it

Rowin noise gate is smaller than the nano pedal and is the smallest pedal I've ever seen but works same as the other nano Rowin noise gate pedal as far as can tell, probably same electronics in it. Will need to design and print a new holder for that pedal for the 3D printed pedal board
So far: 8/10 - budget noise gate, it gates noise innit.

M-VAVE pedal power strip is small and I mean tiny, I expected to be a least twice the size!

Each channel is 'independent' so they claim dunno if that means isolated though to help with noise...and two are 200mA for digital delays etc.

Comes with 8 barrel to barrel cables that are 30cm long and USB C for phone charger to mains

So far: 7.5/10 - could 've done with supplying maybe 4 longer cables for larger pedal boards, not really an issue for my board and you could just cut one and solder in longer length. You also need a phone charger to use.
