I can’t think how this could possibly trigger any unrest. People voted to hurt themselves and workers hate unions. People asked for a good hard punch in the face. You only need to look at the Daily Fail reader’s comments to gauge the depth of anti-union feeling in the country. You are worrying over nothing. Besides, that Business Minister Mr Kawasaki Coathanger has denied it. Chill.

Responsibility will at best be taken as pressing the button that delete them. Which she probably can deny. And not the extension to "why no backup?"

It comes as a document from Boris Johnson’s government revealed emergency measures planned at UK ports to prevent food shortages. Up to 300 empty lorries a day could be fast-tracked “to expedite” their the return to the EU, where they can be restocked with supplies.
Naturally the Hauliers won't mind paying for this empty run and sea cruise at their expense.

Arrests are on suspicion of committing an offence and it now transpires that these wiped records were of arrests that were not followed by any action, in other words no acceptable evidence of an offence.
Keeping records to infer offences for which there's no evidence is the stuff of police states and there's been far too much of this kind of thing going on since the 1980s.
