I've got a pal who comes from Glasgow his accent is really strong. Some years ago he got nicked for getting up to some kind of mischief cant remember what and the law down at the nick couldn't understand a word he was talking.

I hate football, but was pleased to hear that Millwall were booing this Black Lives Matter nonsense. It is a racist & political movement based on fiction.

Wrong. Taking the knee in our league football is not a part of the BLM movement. Their visual protest was adopted as a handy way to protest against the very real racism expressed by football crowds with chants and direct abuse of black players. This has been going on for many years and existed long before the BLM movement was created as all the government and FA protests against it over the years bear witness.
Since you say you hate football and presumably don't watch it, either out of ignorance you presume this racism doesn't exist or you deny it for racist reasons.
Those of us who do watch football live or on TV have long been aware from seeing it how real and vile in nature this racism is, so support any action which exposes it as utterly repulsive and totally unacceptable. No one should ever be abused for the colour of the skin they were born with.
We had hoped that this protest action would result in the racism disappearing, enabling the taking to knee to stop. Sadly it seems a few Millwall fans want to stay true to their past unacceptably racist behaviour.
I do agree with you that in some other areas unaffected by racism that taking the knee is overtly political. Hamilton taking it into Formula One for example was in no way justified since Formula One has never suffered from racism, least of all against him with all the privileges it has afforded him to display his talent since a very young age.
But our league football has long suffered horrendous degrees of racism from supporters against black players and often extending far beyond. As for example when Chelsea fans forced a black Parisian man off a Paris Metro train while chanting racist slogans, leaving him feeling utterly humiliated.
Fortunately after the French police traced them they were prosecuted in court here in England and received bans on attending matches for up five years. The Chelsea club has additionally banned them for life and one lost his job in financial services.

I think racism in football has reduced, but not disappeared. There is still some work to do.
The knee business has been hijacked by BLM, which definitely is a vile racist movement.
Hamilton did suffer racism earlier in his career. Spanish audiences did the complete routine, bananas and monkey noises. That was at the time he was trouncing Alonso, but not acceptable.
The knee is a politically symbol now, it needs to be stopped. BLM should be classed as a prescribed terrorist organisation.
There is genuine racism, I don’t deny that. Attention and actions should be focused on ending it.
If the Millwall fans should be respected for booing, why not respect the players taking a knee?
If Eustice is booed every time he tries to say anything , anywhere, from now on, I'll not be surprised. As a politician and having claimed that booing is a part of a political movement against the knee takers, he'll not have a leg (or knee) to stand on were he to complain.
We won't know if it really has reduced until after the crowds return. The Millwall incident is not an encouraging sign
Agreed, but that was a very long time ago and unconnected in any way to the "Knee taking" gesture
I'm not aware of any BLM terrorism. It's a protest against police murdering black people.
It needs to be ended among football fans and there is a very simple way to do that. At the first sign of racist behaviour all the players should immediately walk off the pitch, ending the game and no ticket refunds.
Since only a minority are racists, the rest of the fans, usually the great majority, would quickly turn on them for ending their enjoyment of the game.
Let the game police the game.
