Every cloud has a silver lining, we can all be Harold Shipman now and get away with it.The one and probably only problem with making your own decisions in this instance is when they're wrong they affect everyone not just yourself.
I think boris (viz care homes) is comfortably ahead of himSome say he was the worlds biggest serial killer, or the most successful.
I go for a six mile run in the evenings and have been oddly pleasantly surprised. Other than a few obnoxious young adolescents deliberately coughing loudly, or riding bikes close to me everyone has become really considerate. Which is odd in my otherwise quite entitled passive agressive neck of the woodsEvery cloud has a silver lining, we can all be Harold Shipman now and get away with it.

I think you may be putting too much effort into Cummings' agenda of transferring responsibility for the pandemic fuckup (failed test & trace etc) from the corrupt government to the citizens. It ain't gonna wash. Everyone can see all too clearly your emperor boris isnt wearing any clothes. You have my sympathy. It's a **** time to be a tory.Andy Burnham has suddenly found his voice, asking for money to bail out the drunken hoards who are responsible for spreading Coronavirus now their irresponsible behaviour come back to bite them. I don’t recall him asking his idiot citizens to tone down their behaviour and to adhere to social distancing. Typical Labour.

Brady just wants to keep the tills ringing for his pay masters. Burnham stood back and did nothing when “his people“ were spreading the virus with their stupid behaviour. As I’ve said before, fighting this virus is a two way contract between us the public and the leaders. Each has to do their bit and both are failing. Burnham is a clown, pretending he cares all of a sudden just because there is an opportunity to attack the other team.Andy Burnham has some unexpected local allies...
Sir Graham Brady, chairman of the 1922 Committee of backbench Tory MPs, said: 'The case has not been made for Greater Manchester to move into a Tier Three lockdown.'
Sir Graham, MP for Altrincham and Sale West in Greater Manchester, added: 'There is widespread concern amongst MPs, council leaders and the Mayor of Greater Manchester, all resisting the suggestion that Tier Three should be introduced.'
Fellow Tory William Wragg, MP for Hazel Grove in Manchester, said health ministers had 'achieved the impossible' by uniting local politicians of all parties against the government's plans.
Jake Berry, former minister for the Northern Powerhouse, and MP for Rossendale and Darwen, said many people in the region already 'don't know or understand what the rules are' because they are on the 'twentieth set of rules'.
and to add Tory Essex County Council begged Hancock to be put into high risk tier.
Wow! they're as rare as Brexit bonuses! That's nothing. I've got one signed by a passenger who perished.

No I’m not, the government are pathetic, corrupt and have displayed zero leadership. I’ve said the same many times. But, fighting Coronavirus is not something any government can do unless the public do their bit. I know typical Labour supporters want the government to do everything for them and shovel public money into their pockets whilst they carry on as though nothing is happening. The public simply aren‘t doing their bit in these heightened risk areas and they must, regardless of who is in power.I think you may be putting too much effort into Cummings' agenda of transferring responsibility for the pandemic fuckup (failed test & trace etc) from the corrupt government to the citizens. I’m attacking those who are responsible for not getting this virus under control. That is the Tory government, local leaders and large sections of the public. It is possible to pin the blame in more than one area. It is possible to look at what is happening, to see who’s responsible and decide that it’s not just one factor or one team. You should try it, but unfortunately your mind is not capable, it’s set like a rapid curing epoxy resin. Capable only of adapting the evidence of your eyes and ears to fit your rigid and immovable agenda."a clown, pretending he cares all of a sudden just because there is an opportunity to attack the other team."
May I ask what you are doing?
I agree that a shot term national lockdown is best, if we do anything.Burnham holds out only for better support from Treasury for those losing their job because of government order.
A short term UK wide lockdown is better than localised lockdown, you don't have the kind of silly situations like having to travel to a lower risk zone to meet with family in a pub/restaurant/park.
Which is why the Welsh approach of generally not being allowed to leave locked down areas makes quite a lot of sense. And people travelling from Essex to Suffolk, or Birmingham to Tenby, to get round the regulations is abrogation of personal responsiblity of the first order.you don't have the kind of silly situations like having to travel to a lower risk zone to meet with family in a pub/restaurant/park.
