Brexit, for once some facts.

True, if you ignore the following facts.

First the Lockdown used was too late in being applied
Dominic Cummings sabotaged it
no controls put in place to test and trace
no control over airports and other points of entry applied
But most important and critical mistake
A Government campaign based on the economy not on saving lives
A campaign to get people to the nearest cash register with mean subsidies
A campaign to fill the pubs
Meaningless directives to the public that change almost daily
But most critical factor of all
Idiots put and imbecile in charge, because the press did a character assassination job on the opposition

So let me amend that statement
"everything that is happening in Liverpool is as a result of the factors above and own stupidity. They deserve everything coming their way and some more besides. A complete bunch of useless, reckless *****."
No, the principle behind the rules is simple. Keep your distance from other people. That has always been the message and it’s easy to do on a social level. Not so easy if you must go to some sectors of employment, granted.

Instead, we see fat, ugly idiotic pissed up Liverpool slappers sprawled in heaps on the streets displaying their axe wounds in the hope that some toss-pot with a perm will blow his beans up there. Then they can claim victim hood cus they can’t look after baby and it’s affectin’ me mencal elf.

They are ******* twats and should be left to get on with it with no support or help from outside. Self inflicted injury.

Here endeth the lesson according to Shittpeas on this the 288th day of the 2020th year of our Lord.

several studies show that failure to lockdown or leaving lockdown too early will cost more, not just in casualties but also in economic cost.
However, nothing is worse than dithering and half measures.
I don't know why this government is obsessed with the number 3, 3 things in each of their messages, but too many messages or hyperbolic messages (like world beating something) are counterproductive.
The original Covid message was 'stay at home, protect the NHS, save lives' did not need to change.
Personally, I take enough risk continuing to work and going out to buy food.

Still making excuses for your government? they are the primary ones at fault, and they are still not getting their response right
Frankly they never will, and history will not record Liverpool slappers as being the most stupid.
That title will go to the people who voted for this government and turned a disaster into catastrophe.

Your lesson has hardly begun never mind "there endeth"
And here it is

This is an interesting read, describes what a Trump or Biden win might mean for the UK and the rest of the world.
That is a very good article. However I think it underestimates the official Irish linkage to a potential Biden WH. The Trump WH has linked itself to the Irish American Conservative Catholic establishment..and to its shame some of them have capitulated .( Notre Dames chancellor for example) . Official Ireland is not on that wavelength, but has stronger links with the Clinton \Obamba \ Biden camps .
A Johnson plan to renage on the Belfast Agreement will get cold comfort in a Biden Washington

Back to the Bellman. What I say three times is true.

BJ would probably do a runner and leave the mess for someone else before reneging on the Withdrawal Agreement.

Essex ramping up by going in tier 2 after Tory controlled county council pleaded with govt for tighter restrictive measures.

Cases been increasing past month with schools closing in some areas.

Roll on lockdown redux by any other name...

That speech - powerfully - summarises the crux, the raison d'etre of this government. How much more death, corruption and destruction (of schools, services, the economy) it will take before my tax dodging, benefit cheating self congratulating plumber (and it must be said typical tory voter) consider any of it a problem is the question.

National Grid have made an urgent appeal to flecc, they have asked him to keep his car plugged in and not use it for the next few days as they may need to draw on the energy stored in its batteries due to possible electricity generation problems.
In fact I only unplugged it from charging yesterday so they can't have any. Perhaps it was charging mine that led to the shortage.

You can only do so much for people. The rest is down to them. Appalling behaviour by the public is making Coronavirus worse than it needs to be.

The concept of a false flag operation , is obviously far to subtle for you. This is released now, ..as promised a number of months ago, .. the term was big surprise in October ,in order to damage the Biden campaign. Of course the timing is such that it is impossible to check on the authenticity of anything in it. Doctored photography, fake emails, a providence which a local pawn shop would disown, let alone Christies, .. Really VR, I never thought you were this gullible.
Why do you think they cancelled the second debate? They knew this was coming. Trump was certified cleared by the medical profession to return to public engagements 6 days ago. Hello, Danidl, is there anybody in? As you will see, this story has legs. Apparently, there is far worse to come.

I might not be the only one who questions whether anything that comes out could be worse than Trump?

She's another dumb one, not realising that for every country it's a balance of lives against eventual economic cost, she's only thinking about deaths.

Every country chooses how many die, Sweden has made its choice and the UK is no exemplar in this respect.
.
Denmark, with it's much tighter lockdowns, has suffered many less deaths (than sweden). And its economic impact from covid is similar to Sweden's. Managing the pandemic properly with lockdown can be good for the economy in the long run.

Some of the decisions on the original lockdown were poor. For example, the five-mile range, the once-a-day go out. That car parks in many places were closed.

Donald Trump goes for whiffs of corruption as if he is whiter than white.
Asked how much tax he's paid by the moderator, Mr Trump said millions.
So how come he's billionaire while paying a tiny percentage of his fortune in tax?
If tax returns are public records like in some Nordic countries, voters will not just laugh at those who get to billionaire status without paying billions in personal tax.
How would you compare someone who avoids paying tax with someone like Biden who is in public office for 50 years?
Let's wait for the next debate, I don't expect any particular shift in the votes, just want to see if Donald Trump resorts to Biden's son's dealings or defends his economic record.

I seriously doubt you are an idiot, but the only alternative is agent provocateur. The first debate was poor . Biden was poor, but Trump was disastrous. Anyone who was not utterly partisan in the Trump religion knew that. In fact I then suspected that Trump had not contracted CV19 but his handlers had invented a way to avoid his doing another.
I am very puzzled whether in fact Trump has or had or ever had CV19. The only evidence to my mind is the manic mood which is typical of steroids His medical team have lost all medical credibility. If he has it , its NOT GONE

VFR knows how to provoke a reaction - shake it a bit.
He has not posted anything unverifiable though.
If Trump is a bit high in the next debate (Friday 23-October), he won't be cheating, his taking steroids was prescribed by his doctor.

I suggest a new amendment to the USA constitution. All tax records must be published before anyone can be put on a ballot paper, for anything. Mayor. Congress. Police chief. Senator. And every year in office - otherwise they lose office. No loopholes, apparent or real, like claiming an audit.

And similar here in the UK as well.
