And it may well work with the UK electorate...I would not know., But it will not wash with trade negotiations or other European countries
It is working with the U.K. electorate. I agree, it won’t work outside the UK, people aren’t that stupid in other countries.

You're telling us about your moral frame of reference. You make a mistake to project that into everyone else and assume they are like you. This is a bit like the magical thinking children engage in. You and your fellow leave voters are welcome to close your eyes and pretend that makes the world go away. It doesnt. Boris winning doesnt solve anything.
Look, Boris has an oven ready deal, ready to go, so let’s get Brexit done. This is a marvellous deal which will deliver fantastic new trade opportunities, and it will fix the Irish back stop problem by providing frictionless trade within the whole of the UK and wider European area. Let’s take back control of our borders and our laws. Once Brexit is done by the end of January, we can get on and fix the important issues like building 40 new hospitals, recruiting more police officers, and getting more teachers into our schools.

That, even by leave standards, is incoherent, steamy horsemanure. I gather you're a turkey that believes in ufo's. That would explain the leave vote and the basting you're in for.
You see what I mean. It looks like a classic case of remoaner derangement syndrome. I voted remain and the story exposes UFOs as fake!

Thing is you actually believe this stuff.

It's aimed at the gullible folks like yourself. Say it enough times and they know it will stick.

You know it word for word. Job done.

Johnson has you in his pocket.

I think you have read his intention him wrongly on that, he was trying to debunk UFO believers as being victim of their own prejudices.
Unfortunately for him he missed the irony involved, for if you substitute the word "Brexit" for "UFO" the last paragraph of his post is a damning admission of the mistake of voting for Brexit.
But since he now claims to have voted for remain, he's just confirming what we already knew

Are you saying that you don’t believe in it? How queer.

I’d vote LibDem if they could find something more inspirational with more ideas & more charm and charisma to replace Jo Swindon. Something like a flat-pack wardrobe finished in dark brown laminate would do.

Ah! I see - we're already drawn, stuffed and trussed. (Or should that be Truss'ed?)

Amazon ready to cash in on free access to NHS data
Amazon has been handed the keys to a trove of NHS data it can use to develop products to sell internationally without paying a penny to the UK.
A government contract, revealed under freedom of information laws, shows the partnership goes far beyond the tie-up with Amazon’s Alexa voice assistant announced in July.
The health secretary, Matt Hancock, said at the time the NHS should “embrace” the technology, saying it would cut pressure on GPs and pharmacists. But the contract shows the American tech giant could access more than just NHS website data.
The $863bn company can access “all healthcare information” gathered by the NHS at the UK taxpayers’ expense, including “symptoms, causes and definitions”. It also gets “all related copyrightable content and data.

Express readers are amazing the have been entering a poll and 84% think Corbyns documents aren't real, despite the all too obvious fact they are, and even the Government and the Telegraph back in July confirmed it.

Local info board said water was 22 degrees, but it wasnt. I, d guess 18 or so. Cold at first but no problem. Had my wetsuit with me but didnt use it. Madeira is nice if you like busy, posh hotels, shops etc.. Much preferred Porto Santo and it gets less rain. (not as high, more barren) Its very quiet, sleepy, fantastic beach. Perfect for me.
Think I, ll be coming back May. (no direct flights til then)

thanks - 18C is just a little too cold for me. Caribbean is a bit pricey but I guess worth it. madeira isn't bad, but oddly morbid (rain as you say, dark volcanic beaches, dark mountains, petit bourgeoise types)
