The GE candidates are now announced, we have:

Standing in Preseli Pembrokeshire (in alphabetical order) are:

Stephen Crabb (Conservative).

Thomas James Hughes (Liberal Democracts).

Philippa Ann Thompson (Labour).

Cris Tomos (Plaid Cymru).

No surprises. No brexit party.
PEMBROKESHIRE Green Party has announced it will not be placing candidates in the two Pembrokeshire constituencies at next month's General Election - with the hope of boosting the Labour Party.
...
"Here in Pembrokeshire the only candidates who can beat Crabb and Hart are the Labour Party candidates. This is why we have unanimously decided to stand down our Green Candidates Frances Bryant and Berry Daines were selected by the Local Party earlier this year. We will instead be actively supporting both the Labour Party campaigns in Pembrokeshire with the aim of unseating Crabb and Hart.

I se Pritti Patel as Home Secretary had said the Tories will stop freedom of movement.

So that's goodbye to any trade deal then.

The Swiss tried that initially but had to give into full freedom of movement to get their 120 deals.

Once they had their deals 7 years later they tried to impede freedom of movement again, and were bluntly told by the EU, no freedom of movement and the trade deals will be invalid.

When will it sink into our dense politician's heads that the EUs four freedoms are an absolute? They are the four pillars the EU stands upon. They should have learnt that after 47 years membership.
.
I don’t understand why people hold free movement so highly on their Brexit wish list. Non EU immigration into the U.K. is 5 time that of EU immigration. Ending free movement is a con, just like everything else Brexit related.

They don't like it because EU people usually speak English as well as us and often better, look like us and are frequently very much smarter. That makes them feel uncomfortable.

People from elsewhere are usually different colours, have funny voices which they can't understand, and we used to run their countries so that makes them them feel superior.

If that’s true, a points based immigration system would increase the concentration of people they don’t want here. That doesn’t add up because Brexit is about a point based system.

I think it’s as simple as them being conned. The average Brexidiot believes that all foreigners come from the EU. They don’t realise that nearly five time more people come from outside the EU and that we are in full control of that, but too incompetent to manage it properly.

I guess that when you read my post, your we’re seeing yourself? You’ve self identified as a Brexidiot haven’t you.

If you insist on making comments about me being an idiot at least read them back to yourself.

That jumble of words marks you as quite the fool.

A very gullible one at that.

Finally, the LibDems have tuned into the British public and are pledging to deliver on an issue which has been at the heart of public debate and opinion for a long time, something which really matters a great deal, gender neutral school uniforms. YESSSSS! At last.

Labour can nationalise BT, market cap. £20 billions, then sell it off minus BT openreach.
It would get about £10 billions for BT business minus Openreach, so I reckon BT Openreach could be nationalised for about £10 billions net.
to make broadband available to everyone, you are talking about £40 billion extra investment using fibre. 5G mobile network may be cheaper and would do the same thing.

Maybe not trillions, but it’s going to cost. And don’t forget that people’s pension funds are invested in some of these companies. Once the telecoms companies become one of the attractions at Corbyn’s, the UK’s only Communist Theme Park, it’s going to hurt ordinary working folk via their pension pots.

But on the plus side, not having to fork out for “Internet” will free up a bit of household cash for extra KFC and McD’s.

BT share holders will be delighted to hear this news. This announcement is going to open the floodgates to investment in the country. Well done Labour.

Don't know why you are panicking.

Now the Brexit party is only standing in Labour's strong areas, Farage has wrecked the General Election by distorting it unfairly for the Tories. There isn't any possibility of Labour getting into power now with only their vote splitting in the areas they can win.

Is BJ really this ignorant?

"Asked by presenter Rachel Burden whether he (BJ) knew what proportion of people coming to the UK came from within the EU, he said "from memory" it was about 50/50.

"You are wrong about that," says Burden, citing statistics which show over 200,000 people came from countries outside the EU, and about 59,000 came from within the EU.?
