To whom are you addressing that question?
I believe it was a rhetorical question intended to illustrate the ease and frequency with which Prime Minister lies to you, and the lack of consequences such lying attracts.

For example:
In your sovereign parliament, Johnson states:

“I will not be requesting any extension to A50 from the EU.”

Just a few hours later:

Boris, what have you just done?

“I’ve just requested an extension to A50 from the EU”

And then the press forget to take him to task over it and focus on “plots to wreck Brexit”

that’s the sort of thing.

If you can't answer the question then don't.

But please lay off the insults. I appreciate you may find this hard as it seems every sentence that emanates from your brain is an insult.

But please do try and refrain from insulting people.

Thank you.

I thought he said he won't be negotiating an extension with the EU.
he still has not but he must know that Erskine May won't allow another vote today to reverse last Saturday's vote.

Actually he had not insulted you. He did not call you a fool. He said you were playing the fool. That subtle difference might have escaped you.

That's ironic. Not that I'd dream of calling an obnoxious idiot like you ironic, that would be insulting

Fingers - Which ones are you looking forward to:

I wouldn't have nearly so much of an issue with selling goods in pounds, ounces and other associated measurements if people actually understood them.

I regularly have to deal with the old grain as a measure for medicines. And I see people struggle with the fact that it is a little under 65 milligrams. But it is sometimes converted as 65 milligrams; sometimes as 60 milligrams. And they have no idea that ounces of gold are not the same as ounces of sugar.

I am not insulting people , asking you to stop playing the fool is no insult, since that is exactly what you were doing.
Your intention was to waste time as usual, as you have nothing to contribute to the discussion
Stop playing the fool and post on topic comments
Thank you.

If only you spent as much time thinking about your posts rather than inventing insults you could be an ok poster.

If only.

You are the one who invented the insult, I simply accurately described what you were doing.

Not to mention Farthing, Tanner, Bob/Shilling, Florin, Half-crown and the Guinea.

As you've said the population couldn't cope with £sd. Nobody ever really learnt it in later life, it could only be grown into from a young age.

But it was brilliant since it was often divisible by two, three and four, instead of only the two and five of metric.

And who can forget the Firkin?

Passports is the big thing for me.

Always was and always will be.
Buy this then - would have saved over 3 years of grief...

or let customs staff and hotels the world over at a glance know where you're from

Ah, now you're in the territory of Rods, Poles or Perches! :)

MeasureEquivalent
3 barleycorns1 inch (in or ")
12 inches1 foot (ft or ')
3 feet1 yard (yd)
5½ yards1 perch, pole or rod
40 poles1 furlong
8 furlongs1 mile
3 miles1 league

Therefore, there were 5280 feet, and 1760 yards in 1 English mile.
