I watched my friend Charles in 'Escape to the country' yesterday on BBC1. He and his wife want to move to Suffolk. Like me, he found Southend-on-Sea not great but can't quite explain why and the main reason given on TV is for their dog, Southend's beaches are no go for their dog half of the year, in the tourist season.
What's wrong with the neighbourhood? could it be increased traffic noise, the dilapidated shops, uneven pavements, or just too many people. You name it.

If your prophecy is correct, I can also have a good guess at who will be bleating the loudest when the leased car is seized, the banks end zero percent balance transfers on the plastic and the mortgage on the four bedroom with master en-suit becomes unaffordable.
