I was just buttering a slice of toast and for some reason my mind turned towards Theresa May.

From the Express
"
Brexit WARNING: Brexiteer MP claims civil servants working under EU AGENDA in Brexit talks
BRITAIN'S civil service is “very clever” and has worked to keep Britain closely aligned to the European Union after Brexit, Labour MP Kate Hoey has warned.

This shows this is a cross party swindle and neither party can be trusted to represent the Public

Can the Brexit faction go any lower? lies, accusations, smears, plots,is there no depth they won't sink to in leaping to the defence of what?
The Public Good? of course not , their agenda is the protection of
Offshore Bank accounts, a Holy Cause to Conservatives and some of the Labour Party too

And the greater the uncertainty, currency fluctuations etc, the more Hedge Funds and speculators are making out of this debacle.

No wonder the longer chaos lasts the better they like it!

This morning I see reported that the Mail headline is "The Vultures are Circling". If even the Mail is calling them vultures (I assume with at least an element of insult to them), I foresee much unpleasantness during any "campaign" for leadership.

I see the pound is now 1.1036 euros. Any bets on when we will hit parity?

No surprise, but Guardian has just updated headline:

Brexit in chaos as Tory MPs trigger vote of no confidence in May
At least 48 letters sent to chair of 1922 Committee of Conservative backbenchers
I think I’ll go and put another slice of toast under the grill.

'Dead woman walking' unless I'm very mistaken. I'll bet she went down on her knees before bed last night and prayed for divine intervention, perhaps along the lines of 'please, please, please Argentina….invade the Falklands again' or 'Spain….please take back Gibraltar'.

Yup. Just seen it. From the ERG:

"Theresa May’s plan would bring down the govt if carried forward. But our Party will rightly not tolerate it. Conservatives must now answer whether they wish to draw ever closer to an election under Mrs May’s leadership. In the national interest, she must go."

They should also ask if they want the ERG to take control when they are definitely NOT working in the national interest, only those of the Tax Dodgers

Am sure I will not be the only one to raise an eyebrow to their choice of words - redolent as they are of:

continue the process of creating an ever closer union among the peoples of Europe

Appreciated for humour - but don't you put bread under the grill and it comes out toast? (Except when grilling cheese on top of toast.)
