Yes, possible, but I think it would bring Tory outrage at the very least.it does not have to be from the EU, if the ROI say they are happy with what JC proposes, the EU will acquiesce.

And an amusing response further down on the same pageso TM does have a plan B!
Brexit minister tells MPs they will have meaningful vote on 'plan B'

Omm...........Ommm.........OmmmI think the ERG have burnt their boats, isolating themselves.
As one minister remarked, their antics could bring about the thing they want least, a referendum and remaining.
.
And as we have seen Norway doesn't want us to do a Norway either.yes, you did. I would have thought the ERG would never let her do a Norway. They will try to bring her down before she brings plan B to the HoC.
I suspect that they didn't actually burn their boats, but when they started sinking Quickly tired of bailing water out, and decided drilling holes was simpler, after all Professor Minford has assured them they could walk on water.I think the ERG have burnt their boats, isolating themselves.

I would agree with that assessment. There will be no time limited backstop for NI. What there can be is a list of acceptable milestones or actions which would limit the requirement for a backstop. If any other politician were to" show willing" to be flexible, the EU side would assist. It is no business of Dublin whether the UK chooses to include the entire UK in or outside the backstop, but it does matter that the NI is included. As I posted before, a fixed backstop is likely to be what Theresa May is seeking to try to get off the DUP hook.
Would the EU refuse it to her but allow it to JC?
Politically a very dangerous tactic, opening them to accusations of interference in national politics.
.
I suspect that inclusion is to protect the interest of the 48%, for the UK to remain in the customs union by the backdoor. It is no business of Dublin whether the UK chooses to include the entire UK in or outside the backstop, but it does matter that the NI is included.
How good would they be as horsemen?four Eurosceptics who have quit the cabinet – Boris Johnson, David Davis, Dominic Raab and Esther McVey
Is there any basis in law for prosecution?Last October, Alan Sugar had this to say about the deliberate misrepresentation of the Leave campaign's case for 'Brexit'.

Not really because it cannot be shown there is any loss or suffering to anyone, either actual or intended. Is there any basis in law for prosecution?
There are crimes which do not, at least in their immediate effects, cause loss or suffering. For example, if I were to personate someone in an election where that did not actually affect the result. Not really because it cannot be shown there is any loss or suffering to anyone, either actual or intended.
Our opinions on outcomes aren't evidence of course.
