I think it's becoming a qualification for being US president or vice president. Jimmy Carter seemed vague about many things, we had the B movie star Ronald Reagan thinking printing money solved everything, VP Dan Quayle insisting to primary kids that potato was spelt potatoe, the Bush Junior genius and now Trump. I'm not sure I'll dare to look who stands next.

Actually I have produced several books, all of Landscape Photographs with comments and simply to be used as presents, though my main interest is in Drawing and painting.
And I was, as a project well into writing a science fiction novel when Brexit came along making scence fiction seem tame by comparison with real life fantasy.

I really can't see any UK manufacturer setting up to fully manufacture and sell Ebikes in competition with China, but it would be nice to be wrong about that.

Just to be complete Trump has put a tariff on Chinese e-bikes. Maybe he was inspired by the EU?
