Before the infamous poster, I used to watch his TV interviews and was impressed by his straight talking about various problems we have with the EU.
Never understood how anyone having so many problems with the EU could accept their dirty money and be an MEP. And not one that ever appeared to help to improve any aspect of it.

Way back in post #110 I posted this

"Have we a Political system that is capable of taking over the running of the country and making it both a going concern and making the public happy outside of the EU.?
To me they simply look like a pack of sharks circling a leaking boat.
And I wonder just what is in it for them, who is pulling the strings, and why?
We couldn't manage before the EU and had to beg the French twice to get in, and if anything we are in a far worse case now to survive and thrive alone.

And the answer is that we now know all of these reservations of mine have proved true.

Same here, but I mistakenly thought he had solutions. Compared to inventing and delivering solutions, saying what is wrong with something is the easy part. We need people with ideas & sound plans which motivate people to follow them.

Miracles are easy to sell, but hard to produce, deliver and maintain.
Surely it should have been obvious all along that if this Government couldn't run the country profitably while it has such a huge free trade area, plus vibrant Foreign companies investing and running modern hi tech factories, and even then exhibited the ability to adapt of a Dodo., it hadn't a snowflake in Hell's chance once outside the EU where it has to be at least on a par with Germany business acumen wise?

I must write this down, for next time RobF takes another pot shot at Chinese bikes and praises the virtues of German bikes, I'll quote it to him!

Farage had a deplorable habit of saying "Really?"then coming out with propaganda loaded alternatives that on the surface appeared reasonable, until you checked the statement, the problem is Few people bothered to do so, so he got away with it repeatedly.
He is, was, and will remain a Mercenary Political Arsonist ,and a danger to public well being.

here are some questions in that ComRes survey that does the round earlier today:

- I wanted the UK to be able to have more control over immigration
- I wanted the UK to have more control over its borders generally
- wanted the UK to be able to have the power to make its own laws without interference from Brussels

who would want to say no to them?

I never could stand the man despite him asking the right questions from time to time in the EU parliament. I think there was a little voice inside telling me he didn't have the answers. He didn't help his case much by saying something pertinent then immediately scoffing "you are paying me to destroy you from the inside", arrogance is never a way of getting a point across.

Since we always have had, is the answer to all three they are misleading.

Christopher Eccleston, one of our very good actors, has this to say about Nazism but the odd celeb giving forth with such affirmations of the choice between good and evil isn't enough. We need more and more people in the public eye outside of the political class to aver their stance against the evil people who would create a world ruled by a fascist elite.

She said, "You're the man of a thousand G's, right?"
"A thousand what?", I quipped,
"Why, G-man, girls, guns, guts... You're my type"
"Wrong, baby!", I slapped her hard, "I'm an L-man. Strictly liquor, love and laughs"
She stared over my shoulder. "Play it cool, Johnny."
