or they could play the game 'reduction to absurdity'.
the silent majority of MPs gently reduce the choices to just no deal or remain, it's obvious that remainers outnumber hard brexiters by 2:1.
If TM went for EFTA, the negotiation would have been completed by now.
We don't pay them to play games, we pay them to govern, something they all regard optional.
The house of commons are completely out of their depth with brexit, which is now so obviously a wrong decision but also a corrupted referendum result affected for corrupt reasons by hostile organisations

Sky Poll/Brexit has just announced that 78% of people think that the government have done a bad job,74% think TM has done a bad job,60% think we are going to get a bad deal and 50% want a second referendum, including many leave voters.
There is clear daylight between those numbers and the opposite, only 10% think the government are going to get a good deal.
Why are we continuing with this stupid Brexit experiment.
The Remain guy on All Out Politics won the argument against the Leave guy,the latter fell back on the ‘we have already had a vote’. As the Leaver said if you ordered a meal and it turned up uneatable, you would reject it and ask for something different or walk out of the restaurant, you wouldn’t let the chef try to spice it up.
When May comes back from a holiday she has in the past come out with a surprise announcement, what’s next?
Leavers are finding it harder to sell Brexit to us all.

I reckon she'll get a deal at the 11th hour.

TM is making progress:

The UK government has reportedly agreed to let the European Court of Justice be the legal arbiter on issues relating to the Brexit bill and EU citizens living in the UK.
The ECJ will also have the final say on whether the Northern Irish backstop should be activated.

We have no option but to accept the continuing rulings of the ECJ, since that is written into so many of the EU originated laws that we have on the statute book and which are being sealed into place by the Great Repeal Bill.

Accordingly any attempt to differentiate just for Brexit bill issues and UK resident EU citizens has always been foolish

This is just another example of how it was always impossible for us to truly leave the EU. To do so completely would take very much longer than the 44 years we've been in.

In a perverse sort of way I can understand the likes of JRM wanting deregulation, even though I don't agree with their motives. I can understand and see why such as Hargreaves think Brexit would be beneficial. I can also understand all the arguments put forward by remain. For the life of me I just can not get my head around Labour's stance generally and Corbyn's specifically.
You don't have to agree with an argument to understand its reasoning, and even taking into account Flecc's view about long game for Corbyn it still to me lacks any coherence , logic or direction. Does Labour / Corbyn want to leave or stay? Why did 4 Labour back benchers support May? Makes me wonder if they were bought.
Had labour played a better strategy we could have been rid of Tories by now.,with Corbyn then being able to offer that 2nd ref... Might we see that??? Getting late now.

"
It’s Project Fear all over again! Brexiteers blast warnings over leaving EU with no deal
BREXIT campaigners last night slammed "Project Fear" doomsday warnings by Government planners about the potential impact of leaving the European Union without a deal.."

And what is the problem? the Government has made plans for emergency action if Brexit causes shortages.

So this is Project Fear, Brexiteers don't accept even the possibiltiy of their nonsense going wrong and would prefer all hell to break out if it does?
In another place, someone is trashing the fairly balanced (in my view) discussion which is questioning the the supply of medicines in the UK post-brexit. Trouble is, even if he were right, he has made absolutely no attempt to argue or explain - just said it is so. Even if the problem were the rest of the world queuing up to buy everything British and confounding the dismal predictions, it needs more than that. So far as I am aware, it is only the creator who can say let there be light... (Well, according to some ancient writings.)

The is ridiculous and the press have also said that huge companies in the industry I work for will have problems.

Complete Nonsense

Let each of the constituent countries of the UK join the EU independently? The UK leaves and ENIW&S all join at the some moment.

(Yes, I know the EU wouldn't wear it.)

The logic is that it's left you and everyone else with no idea of what he wants or intends. As I've said before, that is intentional, since knowing what he stands for will lose some of his current support.

If he's pro remain, it could lose him the many normally Labour supporting workers who voted Leave.

If he's pro Leave, it could lose him his Remainer support.

Consider the fact that most people are not following these Brexit issues closely, they are drifting along blissfully unaware in traditional political mode. That will maximise Corbyn's Labour support since both Leavers and Remainers who normally do so will continue to cast their usual Labour vote at the next general election.

Only then will it be safe for Corbyn to reveal his true position and upset some of Labour's supporters. In short, he's a much smarter cookie than most give him credit for.

The Brexiters wanted May to release details of a 'no deal' preparation,to show the EU we are serious about leaving...then when she does, they cry 'thats unfair it suggests that no deal is worse than a bad deal'.
Have we driven all the leavers away from this forum or have they all come over to remainers.?

no deal is worse than a bad deal but TM can't say it any more than JC admits he is a soft brexiter.
What she does is to put up a clearly bad deal which she knows will be rejected virtually by 4 out of 5 voters. If the EU does not give her a good enough deal, her next move is to reduce the choice to between no deal and remain.
Guess what, there are twice as many voters supporting remain than no deal. The hard brexiters have no other choice than supporting her deal, otherwise, their dream in the last 43 years would come to nothing. She only has to get CETA+ although I think she should be more upfront and go for EFTA.

Check mate.

There was never any difficulty in understanding the motives of JRM and co, any more that looking at the triangular fins circling your sinking boat would lead you to be confused about their intentions.
The reason you are finding it hard to understand the labour (and particularly Corbyn's intention)
Is because the cowards that they are lack the backbone to come out with any in case they are disqualified from winning the captaincy of a fast sinking ship.
In other words their intentions are not to have any in case they harm their chances of getting into power.
The oldest tradition in British politics is simply this
Appear to be on someone or something's side until the outcome of the battle is pretty much decided.
Then ride in to join the winning side so as not to be left out from the spoils of victory.
As you can see that is pretty much the same view as fleccs, I just wanted to express how distasteful a method it is.

But of all the countries to get confused with, Japan is probably the worst one.

What do you expect the Blithering Idiot to do?
look for an even more insulting remark, as Boris would have done?

it's probably nothing but it just goes to show that maybe in JH's mind, Chinese, Japanese, is just one of these...
