As usual Woosh, you miss the point. It has nothing to do with spelling mistakes but don't let it concern you - just put it down to one of those strange things that some English do that French people don't quite get.

Tom
You know what Tom I don't think you can make a post without having a go at somebody....Woosh is perfectly capable of getting any point..
But in yours and OG's defence, it was me who picked up on OG's use of word "toeing"...It was after you,d called me a clown, ,troll, pillock and tosser .All of which are new words for you because in past its been racist, thug, xenophobe and idiot. Not even sure why you got involved, quite the opportunist really aren't you. Anything to get an insult in.
But I shouldn't really get upset because you,ve called all tories scum and all leavers idiots. Both of which are obviously ridiculous...poor old OG just gets caught in crossfire. In his defence I don't actually think he,s directly insulted anyone, but he seems incapable of criticising you for doing so..

Ahwell,I,ll get back under my bridge...and wait for another biased link from Tom...wont be long..

The European Union
Reminds me of the cold war nuclear fears advice from the Home Office. To protect against blindness cause by the intense brilliance of the nuclear explosion flash, they advised we should have a stout brown paper bag to hand that could be placed over one's head.

No realisation of the fact that the flash (speed of light) would reach us before the sound of the explosion (speed of sound), so we'd have no indication a flash was imminent. Or that many in line of sight would have the flesh stripped from their skeletons by the blast within a second or so.
.
Wait a minute! That is brilliant! I think you have found the reason for the brexit vote, all of those people were still wearing their brown paper bag!

Oh and the speed of light is different for those folk, the sound goes to the brain faster than the flash...

It was the moving a wardrobe in front of the window and filling it with soil that had me going. I could visualise trying to quickly open a door put the soil in and close the door before it fell out again.
Had I known about the brown paper bag...

I suspect the best plan would be to lay the wardrobe on the floor, put the brown paper bag over your head and have someone poke a straw through the bag so that you could breathe, then bury you with soil. Inside the wardrobe being the safest place.
Leaving the doors open would alert any would be rescue crews that you are still there, should you have been killed the wardrobe would double as a handy coffin.

Come on though, everytime I listen to safety advice on plane makes me almost laugh..
In event of crashing bend forward with your hands behind your head and head on your lap...
Plane is hitting ground at 300 mph and O Leary is having last laugh..." kiss your ass good bye"....and whilst I,m at it. Marine industry has spent millions developing life jackets and what do you get on a plane " for in the event of crash landing into water" ?.. A Tesco plastic bag with a bit of tube and a whistle...
You really have to be in a bad way if your life depends on the junk they demonstrate.

By the way. Showed wife all Tom,s insults. She said it took her 20 years to realize all that...Ahwell.

How very predictable

Theresa May back out in front in new poll taken after Manchester bombing
Exclusive: ComRes poll for The Independent puts the Conservatives 12 points ahead of Labour, despite growing support for Jeremy Corbyn over social care.

She failed to prevent it despite all the fancy words, despite her cut backs the security apparatus had all the information needed, methods and technology to do so, yet failed, and won't prevent the next one, and yet the public still prefer her.

Can anyone explain why this happens?
Why does this woman benefit from her incompetence?

the BBC give her 24 hours a day coverage under the guise of 'government in action' while the tories press brand Mr Corbyn 'IRA supporter' and 'terror apologist'.
The result is that Labour is seen as doing nothing while the country is in crisis.
I personally find Andy Burnham could have done more in his position as the mayor of Manchester to present Labour's solutions.

Michael Fallon condemns Boris Johnson statement on terror attacks after being told it was said by Jeremy Corbyn
Senior Tory minister thought he was responding to the Labour’s leader speech following the Manchester bombing.

Isn't it good to know these Politicians are better informed than we are?
Mind you I can understand anyone being confused by the statements Boris makes!

No-one should be fooled by this piece of crap pretending to be a Labour politician. In 'old speak', he is what used to be known as a 'champagne socialist' but the labels are unimportant; by their deeds and the friends they keep, ye shall know them.

Burnham, like a number of others of his ilk, is a 'Blairite' if we need to use lables. That means his political ideals and objectives are a million miles away from those of Jeremy Corbyn or the brilliant Nye Bevan of the early 1950s.

Being a member of parliament is a fantastically lucrative, part-time occupation and this 21st century has seen the rise of the professional politician - people with no firm beliefs on anything important and absolutely no empathy or compassion for their fellow man. It's all about them and how best they can maximise their income in a whole variety of ways they never even dreamed possible before entry into 'The best club in London'.

In order to retain their massive salary + expenses package with its unbelievably generous pension provision, they will say, and do, whatever is expedient in order to hang on to their cushy little number. They get away with it because most people are too busy just trying to survive and do the best for their family to actually look closely at what their parliamentary representative is actually saying and doing in the chamber and in the lobbies.

Whenever challenged about any strange, unusual or unexpected vote on a major issue, these parasites attempt to excuse themselves by stating they felt obliged to vote in accord with their conscience. At that point, they should be forced to stand down as they are no longer doing what they are supposed to be doing. Their conscience can never come before the will or aspirations of the people they profess to represent. Ipso facto, democracy just went out the window!

I could go on for hours about the hypocrisy of these apparently, 'salt of the earth', people's champion, northern politicians who represent very few in the formerly industrialised north of England, apart from those in the nouveau riche hotspots and only then because it feels a rebellious, kind of hip thing to do for the thickos whose fortunes arose solely from kicking a football about and having some brilliant tattoos over more than half their body.

To be fair, there are a few 'dhown saarf' who are just as bad but it seems that the north, with its traditional 'grass roots' Labour constituencies, have seen more that their fair share of these failed 'Blairites' masquerading under the Labour Party banner desperate to gain power, whatever they have to say to achieve that.

It's quite incredible down here in Spain to witness some of the morons who, last year, thought it was a brilliant, patriotic thing to do voting for 'Brexit', now having second thoughts and in some cases, already sold up and retreated back from whence they came. Look around at the Brits in any bar or cafe and it seems the only newspapers available are the Sun and the Daily Mail. That reflects the level of intellect of those who migrated away from the UK to live in the sun rather than any unavailability of alternative news organs.

Other examples of this modern breed of amoral, self-aggrandising professional politicians are the wholly talentless married couple of ex-MP, Ed Balls and his other half, Yvette Cooper. One of the vanguard of this anti-socialist gang of infiltrators operating under a false flag is the despicable ex-MP, Jack Straw, who has always had a difficulty about his Jewish descent, spending his whole parliamentary career in denial, to the chagrin of many Jewish people in Britain.

There are no depths to which these sham politicians will not plunge in order to further improve their public image and/or wealth enhancement.

Sorry Croxden........what was the question again?

I know Tom has a low opinion of me ( but that's nowt new) but that is one hell of a good post/ rant Tom. Its well written and makes some brilliant points.( nor too sure about the insult to expats mind, it depends where you look)..Credit where credit due...good post...
And there is a very serious addition to it...the Blairite attitude and related warmongering are exactly why labour party cant put up a viable alternative, indirectly the likes if Blair, Campbell etal are giving TM the free hand she,s now playing. ( could back fire though) But can you imagine the following fiasco from Blair and his cronies if Corbyn did get in power..

Glad to have been of service 'Croxden'! If you find me amusing when I'm stone-cold sober, then you'd find me hilarious after I've had a few!

I've been known to do a pretty good stand-up routine but it can be painful falling over again and again!

Did I ever tell you the one about the two gay trolls?......oh, perhaps I'd better not, lest any of my gay friends take exception.

I don't suppose you have a contact address for the retreat where my dear friend 'Tillson' is cleansing his mind and body at the moment? I'm missing his wit, charm and occasional barb.....never thought I'd say that but at the end of the day, he is, like me, a Kalkhoff rider and knows a complete pillock when he sees one.........fortunately, he has never seen me to make any kind of judgement!

The sun is now past the yardarm so there are things I must attend to.....hic!
