probably shows that voting leave has nothing to do with which party you support.
You are I take it speaking in the Past tense, at the time of the referendum.
I suspect it had more to do with the fact that none of the parties supported the people, and took any notice of them, and so whatever the Government wanted, the people didn't, as the people wanted change, they were fed up with being ignored.
This latest vote shows that that choice made then isn't holding up, and people are voting actively against Brexit in large numbers that wanted it before they really knew what the costs might be.
No one can blame them either way.

I think eejit is a northern colloquialism, some place past Watford.
Not an oriental insult
Very true Dave, but I was referring to "I no longer craziest leader."

I was a little surprised that old tom engaged in this sort of racial stereotyping.

It is curious though, that those who want to leave the EU vote for the party most strongly in favour of remaining in.

Seems to indicate a lack of logic when there were four other choices.
.
Surprisingly none of the papers has remarked on the fact that ballot papers usually are marked in pencil, if this was America someone would have by now!

Nudge, nudge, wink, wink

The concept of global warming was created by and for the Chinese in order to make U.S. manufacturing non-competitive.

Ah, The Canary! A left wing political bolg. This is further from the political centre ground than The Daily Fail. If The Mail was 1 metre to the right, The Canary is about a Kilometer to the left! But that's ok on this thread.
Ere' guv wot's a bolg?
Actually I would have put the Canary in more of a low orbit if you know what I mean

I have a serious question for all to consider; can anyone remember where or what a political centre ground is anymore?
A wild guess will do....................

By the way I googled bolg
"Bolg was an Orc leader of the Misty Mountains during the late Third Age. ... Bolg's father Azog has a greatly expanded role in the The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, the first film of the trilogy.Bolgappears extensively in The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug.

So that answers the question of where Gove came from!

think you are right in that people felt ignored but don't see this last vote as anti brexit. i honestly don't think that the majority of leave or remain supporters saw it as a political. in our factory it seemed that a lot of conservative voters wanted to remain, the leavers were mostly labour. i don't know if this was the case in other areas of the country.

Don't see an overwhelming change between voting leave and then voting massively for a rank outsider of a party that opposed Brexit?

Perhaps then you can explain why they did vote for the Lib Dems who unless they were not paying attention must have known opposed Brexit?

perhaps they wanted a lib dem local councillor, the eu referendum has been and gone. i still think people who wanted to be in or out of the eu see that as totally different to who they vote for in local or national elections. i understand that may seem odd but that is the view that comes across when speaking to people.

I'm not sure what it is but my guess is that it is situated approximately 1 kilometre to the right of The Canary.
