Yep but the fact is if this thread continues in vain OG and co have steered it I wonder how many more will be pushing views I expressed ? ( actually they aren't my views. Was on Steve Wright this morning, there was quite a few expressing similar) Devils advocate..
A note for everyone else but Zlatan as he doesn't like being interrupted without a month's prior warning
"Vein" not "vain" , should be the correct usage.
Alas there are unlikely to be many more contributors that have views that contradict each other so consistently, are generally anti everything and in any case are rarely if ever on Topic for the thread, but it would be interesting to see if indeed there are any more like that out there.

Irony is a concept you are missing then OG.
Why don't you and I just agree to stop responding to each others posts. Bet you can't even agree on that.
I don't want you to feel you are not the centre of attention, your temper is a bit "iffy" as it is.
How about we agree that all posts be something to do with Brexit?

Yep , with no insults or inflamatory comments. As suggested in rules ? Including the one about agreeing to differ and moving on ? And dropping the personal comments like other poster's temper and temperance ? ??

Infact what about all of us having a read of rules about THIS forum and following them ???After all we all clicked accept conditions ???

Serious Question

If its correct / legal / the right thing for current High Court Judges to have decision to make why on earth should it have to be responsibility of an individual ( Gina Miller in this case) to get case to court??
Had she not taken action she did would decision have been made ? It hardly seems a legitimate process and puts an individual at far too much risk..( irrelevant of your thoughts on stay/ leave)

Couldn't make my mind up which way they are leaning...IMO they will uphold previous decision.

Personally didn't agree with Gina,Miller's actions but the backlash against her is absolutely wrong.

Here is a bye election to watch as a measure of Brexit support
Sleaford and North Hykeham

Or has it been renamed? any way this was a predominately leave area so the result should in theory be a walkover for UKIP

Maybe you should learn a couple of languages and get your news from the source
That whole post is an excellent summary from beginning to end AK but you know the old proverb, 'There's none so blind as those who will not see'.

Most people in the UK have access to TV news from channels other than BBC, ITV and SKY but many choose not to consider the possibility of hearing news presented without bias, without xenophobia or perhaps, quite simply, with a different slant from the state propaganda organs.

We love to imagine we are free people here in the UK but that's true only if you ignore the lifelong state brainwashing through education and media from childhood onwards. The only freedoms we enjoy are those permitted to us by the rich and powerful. The EU offers greater freedom to all the peoples of the union than we are afforded by government here in Britain and that is anathema to the British upper class. Ergo, those who wish to maintain and indeed expand the gulf between rich and poor created the 'Brexit' movement because they fear the emancipation of the lower classes.

This thread has served to demonstrate the evidentially bereft opinions of those who have been unable to untether themselves from the dogma promulgated by the tory party - the party which represents business moguls, the monarchy, aristocracy and the incredibly rich. 'Brexit' has reached out to the intellectually challenged and has found a ready support among the simpletons, racists and right wing extremists who cannot or will not accept the truth, no matter how plainly it is laid out before them.

AK, you have travelled and lived in places with a culture and language different from your homeland. That permits you the gift of objectivity lacking in the atypical 'Brexidiot'. Many of us have traceable ancestors from countries beyond that of our birth and still retain an affinity for that heritage. Others among us choose to live part of our time in other countries and both those groups share that sense of objectivity you enjoy. There is no doubt that travel broadens the mind so those less well travelled and those of double-digit IQs are probably more susceptible to the jingoistic rants of fascist lunatics than those of better equilibrium.

Pat McFadden said this but I think he's wrong:

"I don't think the irony of fighting and winning a referendum campaign on the basis of restoring Parliamentary sovereignty to the UK, and then fighting hard not to give Parliament a say on this issue of triggering Article 50 is lost on people"

Sadly, I think the irony is lost on the majority of them simply because they really are that thick!
