Just as an asside...the average turn out for MEP election is 40% across EU...reason... No fecker knows what they are voting for ?
Its completely barmy.
Ad why does no one know what they are voting for? think about that: the only news coming back from the EU Parliament is when Farage opens his big mouth.
There is a complete news blackout here on the issues being debated, unless it suits the like of Boris to make a song and dance and lie about what is going on.
If there was proper news covering, turnouts for the EU elections would have been much higher, but since no one has a clue of what they do,and how their decisions will affect us, is it any wonder so few bother to vote?

You might be right but I assume you think Cameron, Blair, Osbourne should escape prosecution.
By the way our none democratic advisory referendum attracted a measly 72% turn out.
Now you tell me which is closer to democracy.

We,d get further away from the gangsters Dave.

And we should not pay a penny to stay in market. In or out. Halfway will never work, which is what you remainers will achieve.
Isn't Blair in jail yet?
But it's alright to pay Nissan?
How odd.

Nope...no halfway for me,I want to stay exactly as we are...Maggie Thatcher got us a good deal in the EU,as conversations move on we are starting to appreciate what a good deal it was.
Gordon Brown had a good go at wrecking the deal and now this lot want to destroy it.
The EU isnt perfect, what club is.
Its a shame we went for this vote at this time...I agree that the EU is going to go through a period of adjustment but out of it may come an arrangement that suited us,if we leave we are partly responsible for wrecking such a possible arrangement.
The high turnout was because the simple question attracted so many to vote for so many different reasons, many reasons not even relevant to Brexit.
If we asked do you want to control immigration?
Do you want to stay in the single market?
What would the turnout have been?

Actually Dave..black pudding in UK has to be made from dried blood. Under eu legislation we are not allowed to make fresh black pudding..unfortunately there is not an abattoir capable of drying the blood correctly in UK so it has to be imported from Spain. Their factories dont quite reach eu specification but under Spanish law they are allowed to operate..end result. All UK black pudding is infact Spanish cow,s dried blood. We can put made in UK on it with addition of home produced offal. You couldn't make it up.

where do you get this from? black pudding is normally made with pig's blood, not cow's blood. Fresh blood carries high biological risks, there is an issue with sourcing but I don't think there is an EU directive forcing you to use dried pig blood.

there is streptococcus suis, but I think it's outrageous that the eu tries to protect citizens from it, we should al be, er, free to drink fresh pigs' blood as part of brexit, and I think Nige should stand up for our right to do it!

I would rather have black pudding than jellied eels.

Both disgusting.

What's wrong with nice simple Blanquette de Veau, Boeuf Stroganoff, Tournedos Rossini or Pate de Foie Gras?
.
I'm a huge fan of black pudding and the whole puddings from Costco are very good....and cheap! I'm willing to have a go at jellied eels but so far, I have never had them. I suspect I might not be too keen on those, though.

As for the rest of those menu items you suggest 'flecc', all I can say is, 'Can I come round your gaff for dinner?' Everything there is a great dish in my book!
