When we leave the EU I am now convinced that we are about to enter a land of milk and honey, just like the jihadist life after death is prosperous and full of virgins.
But just in the very unlikely event that we end up poor ,how are we going to pay for the NHS,Social Care,Benefits, doing up Rees-Moggs wife's house,HS2 etc etc.....
Remember we are the land for everyone so....
We cannot put up taxes....we tried that with NIC.
More austerity....Doris from Clacton and Fred from Huddersfield won't like that.
Expand the city of London....forgot they all left in the great Brexit exodus
Put up vat....with the 100% price hikes in 2017-19 not really an option.
Borrow more....yes that's the answer,we only owe 1.7 trillion, but interest rates could be much higher.
Wouldn't want to be Hammond in 2019.

Borrow more....yes that's the answer
yes, that's the best option. We have no intention to stop borrowing.
We've been living on selling assets for a long time.
If we can't pay, we'll devalue the Pound further, that will lower the % national debt / GDP.

But if we devalue, the cost of everything imported will rise, especially if we have tariffs as well, that could put 30% on food.
The annual holiday in Spain will be unaffordable.

So you think being pro brexit is being pro trade? and equally, because I'm worried by Brexit, I must be anti trade?

That's worryingly ignorant.
Taking the very statistically invalid sample of most of my friends (the ones that work rather than sponge off others) - the ones that voted remain all have salaried jobs - and the ones who voted leave are all self-employed. As they say these days - go figure.

except, the option of "lump it" isn't currently being allowed on the table.
We'll see in a few months.
Whichever way you look at it, some aspect will look like a game of chicken.

"Very similar Union"? Huh? Come again?
UK / EU... both the U's stand for the same thing. A group of countries with no borders, free trade etc etc.

You can't say the EU imposes stuff on us and that's a bad things, whilst not acknowledging that London imposes stuff on Scotland and Wales in the same way.

So yes its a very similar union.

This is partly why I think you're basically anti-trade - its your pessimism. You have such a low opinion of this country. Not good for trade.
What are you on about... I can be anti lots of things? I can have a lack of optimism about the current direction this country is taking, without being anti trade. They are not related in anyway.

I do have a low opinion of this country, that's come about from traveling and racing bikes all over the world.

Slight difference, Farage does turn up and makes speeches, sometimes. Plus, voters could get rid of Farage if they deserted UKIP. How do we get rid of Lord Fuckerty McFuckface and his gigantic forehead?
Oh excellent. So you're allowed to say '****'? I thought it was banned due to the sensitivity of some of the children here.

If people don't like it, don't vote UKIP, then they will have no EU Parliament seats to fill. They can remove Farage and UKIP from the EU Parliament if they don't like the attendance record. Unlike the Lords.
Right. The 'other place's days really are numbered. Though at least they have no power really over us - unlike that bunch of unelected knobs at the EU. Are we really leaving? Somebody pinch me and tell me its not a dream. Happy days.

Right. Well there you have it. You have a low opinion of this country. So many wonderful people living here. And you put them down with that statement. And I am SO glad you lost the vote. Now you may see some of the people who do not have a low opinion - come to the fore. And maybe - in time - your opinion will change.

Remember the Olympics? Didn't we all think that would be an unmitigated disaster? How did that turn out? This is a great country. Some great people - amazing history - beautiful countryside - able to not take itself seriously (for those brought up on Monty Python etc) - loads of jobs (I see this morning in the news unemployment dropped again to 4.7%) - a great capital city - amazing walks - public transport.

But. Not everybody agrees right? Ain't that the truth.

Lots of great things are done, but lots of great people in this county. However I'm afraid I've seen lots of bad things, by lots of Brits, especially when they are abroad.

So whilst I think the Olympics and many other things are great and made me proud... other things, like brexit have made me ashamed to be English.

I rank it alongside football hooliganism etc etc. And I have to regularly sit in meetings with many EU nations representatives in our business, and I regularly have to apologise for the actions and narrow mindedness of our nation.

We are a small island and we think we're special, based on a history that has many many things we should be ashamed of.

I don't think anyone should be proud of the geographic fluke of their place of birth. Its meaningless.

That's funny? Interesting how you see more actual racism from the remainers here than you do from the leavers.
Amazing that you are unable to read and understand, then put your own spin on it!
Throughout I have tried not to believe brexit voters are slow on the uptake but you aren't helping with such dumb attempts to recycle jokes like that.
