See what I said in my earlier post today. No need to start getting excited.
I am resigned to follow Trump's scheming to get what he wants through the Court after he lost at the ballot box.
Although it's his right to pursue his goal through the Courts, I am disgusted that Trump would not mind dragging any US institution through the mud with lawyers like Giuliani and Lin Wood.
It's the character of the man, Trump, that I find disgusting. It's the end justifies the means, capitalism pushed to the extreme. His book is written by someone he pays. I wonder if his degree was also earned by someone else. He'll hire any nasty character that may deliver result.
You've said you are apolitical so prove it. Dig some dirt on Trump's entourage instead of Biden's family.

Plenty to read which makes it difficult to believe otherwise - even before he got there:

Perhaps HB's laptop is a conspiracy though vfr, I mean we haven't seen it have we. There's a conspiracy theory that says Prince Charles is in fact a lizard, now that's plain silly isn't it. Well how come he's never denied it or even laughed or pass comment on the suggestion, true or not ?
I think that lost something in translation. Was it not that Charles mother was a liz?

I wish that BJ's manner of explaining the difficulty in negotiating with the EU a bit less tribal. That would have defused the present morose atmosphere and make compromise more amenable.
The lockstep is vice versa. If the EU's standard drops below UK's in the future, we will have equal right to remedy.
Why is it not explained to parliament?

Blame.

If he did that he couldn't shovel all the blame onto the EU. Though many might not believe him.

Any company that hopes to export from the UK to the EU will have to apply whichever has the higher standards - where that is possible. Or come up with dual-standard compliance. Or have two models.

Also, the people who are best at explaining things are very often those who best understand them. I don't think we can level an accusation of adequate/good/best understanding at Johnson.

BJ and VDL still going on talking. For some meanings of "talking", I guess.

Has he gone off-piste? He appearing to be trying to take on the brinkmanship mantle of JFK and forgetting that he always wanted to be Churchill.

Really, I think what you have seen is an unverified copy of something that was allegedly on a laptop, allegedly owned by Hunter Biden.
..and the people doing the allegations are slippery. At best the laptop provides pointers to possible malfeasance, but is not evidence of anything . It has been so tainted by the lack of an audit trail. It sits a few rungs below the watermark of the Steele Dossier.. which at least did have Trump in Moscow at some stage.

And this amusing little detail that somehow has escaped publicity

"Taking Back Control? - According to the UK's Marine Management Organisation, EU boats land 700,000 tonnes of fish from UK waters annually, but Britain’s 6,000 vessel fleet land a higher figure than this as a result of their ability to access EU waters."

Someone please pass this on to the Pillock who is supposed to be our Prime Minister:cool:
