I'm reading Sky News reporters Kay Burley, Beth Rigby, Sam Washington and Inzamam Rashid have been temporarily booted off of reporting at Sky for going on a bender/party of some sort.
Adam Bolton has referred to them all as morons, all is not happy at Sky :D
They should have been sacked. What they did was far worse that what any of the politicians did and after the way they treated the politicians and called for them to lose their jobs.

Kay Burley is reputed to earn over £1 Million a year so if she get's the boot it'll quite a saving for Sky. I thought it a bit funny Adam Bolton has called them out so strongly, one of their own so to speak.
I see there are calls for sackings but more likely is a long lay off till after Christmas, on full pay of course.

Do you think this might be something to do with his $5 million interest free "loan" from China?
.. or even more likely the failure to identify and pay tax on a "gift" of a Diamond ring ,given by a Chinese Business man, since jailed for corruption in China, and which was mentioned in divorce papers from Hunters ex wife. The whereabouts of the ring and its value is unknown. It might have been 800k ..as per the divorce papers, or 100k as per HB.

So here we are being diverted into discussing the minutiae of a Biden tax investigation when the biggest tax question in years probably relates to the incumbent.

The biggest question is clearly climate change (maybe personally less so for most of us oldies), but that doesn't mean we shouldn't discuss lesser matters such as Covid, Brexit, tax, etc

(and of course cats: we have two, ginger and white and grey and white)

Yes - which is why I only claimed biggest tax question. :)

We only have one cat. Who insists on our close presence when she wants to eat. Preferbaly bending down, crouched, and stroking her.

And even if only accidentally stray into discussing Brexit, Which happens to be the subject of this thread . Though by now hardly anyone remembers that

Boris must be the first prime minister we have had that complains about the deal on offer being un acceptable to any British prime minister even after he’s already agreed to it .There seems to be a bit of an oddity there somewhere Boris old chap
This would never have happened if he hadn’t only recently completed a basic reading course and actually been bothered to do it for once

Exactly. Two British Prime Ministers have already agreed to it, Theresa May and himself, and so has the British parliament.

All that remains is for him to do his duty and implement it.

He's making the calculation regarding what is best for Boris Johnson. That's his only concern. On the Monday he declares that no British prime Minister could ever accept such terms and on Tuesday signs up to them with a smile on his face.

He is now weighing up if he will survive the attack from the Tory psychopaths if he goes for the deal on offer. That is his only consideration at this point in time.

Possibly not quite his only concern:

Boris Johnson faces legal challenge for clearing Priti Patel of bullying
Lawyers for FDA union send pre-action notice accusing prime minister of acting unlawfully

Has anyone yet been appointed to replace Sir Alex Allan as the Prime Minister's Independent advisor on ministerial standards?

Fraudulent Tax issues will be the least of the Bidens problems, now the FBI are conducting a probe into money-laundering issues

HUNTER Biden is being probed by the FBI over alleged money laundering and his ties to China
Hunter Biden probed by FBI ‘over foreign cash and money laundering as cops ‘seize laptop’ with Ukraine & China emails’

You were all pretty eager to write about the investigation into Trump's tax affairs. What's the matter?
