By the way, did anyone notice that they are looking as Ivermectin as an anti-viral against Covid-19? A medicine used against parasistes and supplied at no charge by at least one major pharmaceutical company to African countries.
Trump apparently already uses Ivermectin (as a topical cream). Could this be one reason his Covid-19 was not as bad as many thought it might have been?

Whether anyone such as a medic realised this possibility, or not, is another matter.

On Black Lives Matter Plaza (AKA Looting Lane) yesterday, there was a lot of talking about the USA healing. I wonder, heal from what? Think about it, over the past four years we have witnessed sour faced loser nastiness, rioting, looting, foot-stamping, arson, demands to defund the police, impeaching, utter disrespect and discord all because the Democrats and their splinter groups didn't like the president?

How many Trump events have descended into such anarchy?

I‘ll park it there.

You reminded me of the old, old jokes about join in the anarchist party... :)

Well, there is an Anarchist Federation in the UK. With a strict constitution:

Membership
The AF is a membership organisation. To become a member you must have read, agree with, and abide by the constitutional documents of the AF; have your request for membership sponsored by a Group or Regional Secretary; and begin paying a subscription fee at the following rates:
BAND 5: Earn more than £2000 per month take home – pay at least 2.5%
BAND 4: Earn £1000-£2000 per month take home – pay between 1.5% and 2.5%
BAND 3: Earn less than £1000 per month take home – pay between 0.75% and 1.5%
BAND 2: Unwaged/students – pay between £1 and £5 a month
BAND 1: Under 19 year old with no income or benefits: nominal annual sub of £1
In addition levy for IFA membership of +£0.00-0.50 for Band 1 & 2, and +£1 for BAND 3 and above is required.
Members agree to participate in the internal democracy of the federation though the Internal Bulletin, a quarterly update containing reports from groups & officers, proposals for activity, articles for discussion, and other announcements. Members will endeavour to attend each FDM and Summer Camp, or if unable to attend will mandate an appropriate delegate to carry their views to these meetings. Our members are also members of the IFA and agree participate in its democratic structures and undertakings as required. A lack of communication from a member for an extended period will be the basis for removal from internal communications lists (such as mailing lists and message boards).
The following groups of people may not become members:
  • Police and prison officers
    • Those who have the power to restrain or imprison in detention centres of all varieties
    • Bailiffs
    • Full-time trade union officials
    • Members of political parties
    • Scabs
    • Those who have ultimate power to hire and fire or those whose primary role in the workplace is to hire and fire
    • Those who have the ultimate power to remove benefits
Any member joining one of the above groups, in doing so, has resigned from the AF.

Why were observers not allowed into certain counting rooms?

When court orders were granted, why did counting room officials actIvely frustrate the efforts of the observers by distancing the count from the observers?

Why were windows at counting rooms covered over when the first suggestion of fraud became known.

Why were millions of postal votes sent to people who didn’t request them?

Why were ballot papers not scrutinised for authenticity?

At least one state sends out postal votes to all registered electors. Automatically. Regardless which party they are registered with.

I think that could easily account for millions of unrequested postal votes.

What’s stopping them voting twice if they receive a postal vote by default? People could vote in person on the day and mail a vote later that same day. Why aren’t those checks being conducted and why were observers actively frustrated in their attempts to carry out such work?

They cross check between voted-in-person lists and the mail-in vote.

If a person has voted in person, their mail-in vote will be disallowed.

This is one of several checks in place and is part of the reason for the slowness of some counts.

Some are suggesting that all votes should be mail-in in future. Most particularly to avoid the problem of massive distances and queues at polling stations (or whatever they call them).

Just have to establish that the current head of USPS is guilty of voter suppression by changes made, clarifying the legal status of mail-in votes arriving after polling day, and a few other bit and pieces.

Makes some sense. If an election had been scheduled for shortly after the start of the UK lockdown, there could have been chaos. I suspect many would not have been able to request and receive their postal ballots in time - which would have undermined any validity of an election. If we all received them automatically, there would not have been a major issue of that sort.

Have the cross checks been completed properly and evenly? Why the window coverings, why the reluctance to cooperate with observers?

Just sayin’

Why the window coverings
Some of the people in the count (tellers, I think) were feeling very exposed and uncomfortable given the intense media and other coverage. It was for their individual safety/protection/privacy.

I can't help but think that the most ridiculous way of stopping people seeing a count would be:
  • Start the count with windows uncovered.
  • Place a few bits of card up at some windows, recorded by the media so everyone can see what was done.
  • Continue the count throughout in view of observers inside.
Anyone seriously trying to subvert the election has had four years to come up with something better than that! Even covering the windows before the count started would have made more sense!

Sorry, I don’t buy that. Covering up windows and deliberately moving the counting process away from the official observers to a distance where they can’t see what’s going on is suspicious. Where suspicion exists, an investigation must follow.

I suppose the provisional Biden win is a bit of a double edged sword for those who hang around on Black Lives Matter Plaza. Had Trump won, they could have gone looting and bagged themselves some free stuff, as we gave seen on numerous occasions previously. But as things stand, I suppose they’ll just have to buy it, like everyone else.
