Can you get whole-body sized condoms? To create safe support bubbles.

Seems a loop hole that pubs are using if they have the garden space

Wonko the Sane - from So Long, and Thanks for All the Fish.

The Asylum
The Asylum was set up one day after Watson came across a set of detailed instructions on a set of toothpicks. Watson, distressed and fearing for the world's sanity, built the Asylum to put it in and help it get better. The Asylum is a four-walled house turned inside out. That which one would be inclined to take as the door into the house opens into a lawn with benches and walking paths. This is the area that Watson calls Outside the Asylum. Thus, the inside of the asylum contains the entire world, save for that small area. Within that small outside area, Watson has mounted the instructions for the toothpicks, in order to discourage himself and others from going back into the asylum.

Andy Burnham has suddenly found his voice, asking for money to bail out the drunken hoards who are responsible for spreading Coronavirus now their irresponsible behaviour come back to bite them. I don’t recall him asking his idiot citizens to tone down their behaviour and to adhere to social distancing. Typical Labour.
Your imagination is staggering, who was it voted for the Conservatives then?
Time you started to talk sense, many of these people would have been no wiser than you are and voted for the Conservatives.
But in your twisted view only Labour supporters act like fools?

But your staggeringly stupid choice of voting for Boris for fear of having to shell out for the benefit of others was OK?

And it wasn't irresponsible to vote for a man guilty of not preventing the deaths of thousands, not once, but twice with his drive to get people back into bars and restaurants setting the whole second wave in motion?
And who wasted billions of public money on the failed test and trace using his pals who turned out even less capable than he is?

I’m attacking those who are responsible for not getting this virus under control. That is the Tory government, local leaders and large sections of the public. It is possible to pin the blame in more than one area. It is possible to look at what is happening, to see who’s responsible and decide that it’s not just one factor or one team. You should try it, but unfortunately your mind is not capable, it’s set like a rapid curing epoxy resin. Capable only of adapting the evidence of your eyes and ears to fit your rigid and immovable agenda.
As usual you are wrong I simply point out the inescapable cause and effect of this whole debacle and you don't like it as it reflects badly on you decision making capability

You give the public too much credit. You are too kind, they will take the **** and abuse your charity.

Who said Brexit was a mess and that the government is unprepared? Total BS if you did. They already have a mechanism in place to reduce the tax burden on luxury yacht owners who have their vessels moored in the Mediterranean. Workers the length and breadth of the country will be waking up to celebrate this marvellous news.

To all of the nay-sayers, I say this: The Brexit goodness is starting to seep into our lives and soon these droplets of ambrosia will become a raging torrent of urine which will sweep us all up and carry us to a brighter and better Britain. No man, woman or child will be left behind. Hoorah!

Was passing a freezer in one of the local shops the other day - it had a sign saying "Eton Mess".

Even if I wanted something as disgustingly over-sweetened as that, I'd not be able to stomach it with the images the phrase brings to mind.

PS So glad about the luxury yacht owners.

Happily we're having covid mess, it's all about over indulging rich consultant friends of tories and screwing the public out of care, services. But were a kingdom, not a republic. I fear it's in our class based culture to accept this abuse. To not recognise it. I have no idea what it will take for the corruption to stop or if it will.
Edit - on a happier note adern's labour party is winning in nz - against conservatives who say " they are in a better position to 'grow the economy'" after covid. Boris' attempts to grow the economy is i think why we are where we are.

I found some Black Lives Matter sausages in Marks & Spencer today. Does anyone know if they are actually made from black men? The cover also has a picture of a black man dressed up as a pilot to remind us that it is possible for a black man to get an aeroplane off the ground! I knew this already because I have flown alongside pilots with black skin and very good some of them where too, several deservedly more senior than me. All capable hard working chaps who would never clown around with this fictitious BLAME / BLM garbage.

It's over for Biden. How are they going to get out of this? 10 more days of showing what's on the laptop a bit each day with a lot worse to come. Apparently, the main bombshell is going to drop on day 10. Giuliani says that they're doing it like that so the Biden camp can't lie about it because the next release will expose their lies. Neither of the Bidens have denied anything in two days.

Twitter and Facebook tried to shut down the story. They literally shut down senate and government accounts as well as the President's press secretary's. They've both been subpoenaed to explain why before the senate.

The FBI have been summoned to the senate to explain why they had a copy for a year and never did anything.

I love American politics. Never has there been a story with so many twists and turns.

Here's where the story stands at the moment. Giuliani looks very plausible to me, and he says that he will provide more in time that will convince any doubters. I should give a health warning because this will be very uncomfortable viewing for some of you. Anybody that tries to deny the veracity of this story is going to look very silly soon:

It's over for Biden
it's over for the Donald more like.
This election is all about Trump, he's till hogging the TV and not receiving much approval for his effort. It's Trumpism and his false nationalism that people will give their verdict on.
Did you watch the parallel TV interviews of Biden and Trump on Thursday? Biden was boring but Trump did not do well.
