After all the Market is 27 times bigger (including the majority of voters here) than for the other effort

It's entrepreneurial thinking like this we need to make Brexit a roaring success
Now all I need is a Chinese company to make them in millions!

Oh, hang on a minute....

Errr. Not quite old man. I have an 18 inch neck.... And a 27 BMI. Thick necks run in our family.
Subcutaneous fat is most reliable. BMI is seriously flawed. You can tell Mike Tyson he should be paying fat tax with his BMI and big neck.
Who knew about the thick neck?. But seriously ,there are always outliers . The collar measure is a very strong indicator.

According to the ONS statistics, unemployment has reduced more or less continuously since the Brexit vote, and is now at its lowest level since the '70s.
that much is true, direct consequence of a lot of vacancies in the NHS and the care sector because the Pound has lost about 17% of its value, attracting fewer immigrants, £1 trillions of funds leaving London and about 3% loss of growth due to lack of confidence.
Hatti started a conversation with the driver of my container of Ramblettas arriving earlier this morning. He came from Brasil, lived 16 years in Portugal before moving to here. Hatti asked him, why is the UK attractive to you? His reply: in Portugal, you don't work, you get next to nothing in benefits. Benefits are very good here.

That is not good for the U.K. and it is the major contributory factor as to why all of our publicly funded services are failing. There are too many people using the services who have a very short, or no history at all, of paying into them.

Whilst ever the situation continues, people will come to the U.K., put unsustainable pressure on service, and they will fail to an ever increasing extent. It’s reached the point now where unless you pay for medical care, you ARE being exposed to danger. GPs are being forced to gamble with diagnosis in order to try and keep the overwhelmed specialist service limping along. It’s all caused by too many people in the form of new arrivals and non contributors.

I agree, it’s very bad, but just think how much worse it would have been under Labour. We have the choices we deserve, Corrupt Liars or Incompetent Idiots. Take your pick.

Seriously, I would prefer incompetence to Liars.
You can make allowances for incompetence, and put systems in place. Without integrity, society cannot function.

I understood that the driver was working, but he did say that it was the benefits system which attracted him to the U.K. That was why he moved to the U.K. from Portugal. In his opinion, the Portuguese benefit system was not as lucrative as the UK’s.

Now if he is working in the U.K., he can’t have as long a history of paying into the system as many of U.K. born population have. Portugal have probably realised this and taken action, thus displacing him to the U.K.

I know that you think you are very clever and I’m sure you are the cleverest man ever. But you don’t do yourself any favours with replies such as the one above. You have clearly mis-read woosh’s post, become confused and then made an inappropriate reply. Try to do better.

I did and you made the wrong choice.
Corbyn was at best a short term nuisance, and we had the promise of a referendum
look at the mess the other choice is proving to be on a long term basis, just because your wallet was threatened in the short term.

Have you not noticed that Boris has dropped the minimum earnings standard for immigrants?
What has your vote for him gained other than a return to the same old levels of immigration?
They had control of them before but found it profitable to let immigrants flood in.
Tell me, what has changed to improve the situation?
The simple truth is that Conservative voters have been conned yet again, and are now trying to justify their mad decision to vote for these right wing nut cases we now have pretending to be "The Government of the people"
The truth is they are in fact
"The Government of the top 1.5% of the people"

You say that as if the locals have been industriously paying into services all their lives. Why do you think we need immigrants to do our work? We have a benefits culture. In my experience leave voters were often overindulged types who do not contribute, or want to share their benefits. Its cliched by now, but immigration is a net benefit

that is a tricky question. It's straightforward enough to say that you put some in the pot first before you can take out your share of the pot but if you start setting contribution level then it becomes a question of faith. How much is the minimum contribution? How about people with disabilities?

There isn’t much that I can disagree with there. I still don’t think Labour would do much better. We are screwed all ways and in every direction.

I’m afraid I’m just looking out for me and my family now. I do what I can for others, but I know bad times are coming and I’m trying to cover all bases.

I’m afraid that the place the U.K. has become, the wallet is wellbeing and safety. I’m looking after both of those for me and my family.

Agree, it’s a very tricky subject. What do we do with people sent / smuggled here with pre-existing conditions by their families because they will die if they stay in their home country?

Fact is, someone is going to die. The NHS definitely is playing Russian Roulette with GP appointments, scans and specialist referrals. People definitely are dying needlessly because of queue induced delays in diagnosis. Too many people not enough service provision. Not enough services because not enough people paying in.

Private healthcare gives you a chance, but as OG says, you need to protect your wallet for that. I take no pride in saying that I protect my wallet. I have to, I just can’t expose my family to the situation we currently have. I saw this coming 20 plus years ago when mass immigration started to gather pace. Well now it’s here. Good luck, every man for himself.

Don’t worry, the government have our backs. Everyone coming here from the affected areas is being given a leaflet.

Stock up on Lemsip!
