So the

The conversation that so upset you was about why you actually voted for Brexit, and your responses at the time proved that you saw opportunities to profit personally, are you denying that?
What is you motivation for getting so upset by so innocuous a comment as "neat deals"? that is relatively mild? I am till looking for my original conversation where I quoted it..to see what the reasoning behind it was.
Because I didnt say it. You made it up and lied.Proven liar but you fail to apologise, just repeat your made up quote, context and your own justification.
Is it lying? Well you trully believe I said it. Is a deluded person lying? Perhaps not??

Let's get this straight I did not lie, as I genuinely believed that you said it
I could have been wrong, and yet I don't believe I am. that does not make me a liar, but I could of course have been mistaken.
That is why I am trying to find the conversations that gave rise to my belief, when I do then you will get any apology necessary.

Times are hard for remainers clearly.
YouGov's voting intentions are interesting. Conservatives, brexit party flatlining, labour, Libdem on the up. To be fair, wed have to live in a considerably more deranged kingdom than anyone worst nightmare for cummings and boris blatant sleaze to result in anything else

Very interesting.

Thank you for the information.

Thank you Tom.

Please keep this positive persona up. We can all make a difference if we try.

Thank you again.

That said I would like to see him best Boris.
As I've observed previously, he's now on his third Tory PM since becoming Labour leader, and is safer in that position than the current PM. He could easily reach a fourth.

Up on that fence is proving a very safe place.

I am getting bored of brexit tbh.
You're joining most of the rest of the UK. I first got bored with the Leave the EU (EEC) movement in 1975.

Basically 47 against 44

Nothing has changed.
no, except that Bojo does not command a majority anymore.
He's forced to bring back a deal (which will lose a lot of money to those who bet on WTO) or reach for that nuclear button which is WTO brexit.
When 31-October comes, all the pieces of the puzzle will be up in the air.
The GE will not happen before the pieces fall back to the table.

Welsh opinion:

Last week a YouGov poll indicated that 33% of Welsh citizens would vote in favour of independence from the UK if it meant Wales could remain in the EU. Excluding respondents who said they didn’t know how they would vote/wouldn’t vote, this figure rose to 41%. The same poll also asked respondents whether they would vote for independence if a referendum were held tomorrow. Here, 24% of respondents said they would vote yes, rising to 31% excluding don’t knows.

Perhap not as funny as you think:

In 2015, Boris Johnson was selected to retain the seat; he was elected with a swing of less than 1% to Labour. However, the 2017 election saw a 13.6% swing to Labour’s Vincent Lo which brought Johnson's majority down to only 5,034, less than half his 2015 margin and by far the lowest for a Conservative candidate in the area since 2001.

The trend is clear, and given Johnson's current performance could well accelerate.

Seems they have been trying to persuade Rory to stand but he isn’t keen.

meanwhile, the world seems to conspire against Bojo.
The EU wants him to show his plan before the 17-October summit and he is still not ready.
Can it get worse? very likely.
The rebels prepare to kick him out on the 19-October if he does not resign.
If he decides to squat at No 10 until brexit day, the next government can always ask the EU for an extension.
The danger for the conservatives is if JC manages to deliver brexit, his stay at No 10 can become more permanent.

Do explain why you posted

In response to a posting about Wales?

Come on now, what was the motivation to make such a remark, that you like people's property to burn?
