You mean threatening your nest egg, the rest of that post is nonsense
Well, I class myself as an ordinary working person who has saved for a very comfortable retirement. Two Hosed, Three Boated McDonnell wants to steal the proceeds of my work. That is hypocritical, communist in its approach and a hatred of people who have worked and saved.

I love it when you get into this mood, lots of people have worked and saved and yet compared to you have not profited thereby, the policies espoused by labour are likely to resonate with them, aren't they?
And will they regard this attitude as hatred? er......no.

Still I do love it when you "Culturally appropriate", and enjoy your flamboyant and eloquent outrage.
It reminds me of the insurance advert where the chap disguises himself as a new customer and when exposed cries "Why can't we all be treated the same?"
Be reassured I'm all in favour of that....
Still your biggest fan, even in the new persona.

This legal advice spells out in clear terms that Boris Johnson is not above the law. Parliament has passed robust legislation requiring him to stop no deal at the end of October. He must implement it - or face the legal consequences.

From the New European
"
On the Brexit negotiations with the EU, Raab said: "Actually there has been progress, but the one thing holding us back is this sense in Brussels that perhaps parliament through this 'Surrender Bill' Jeremy Corbyn has led would actually perhaps delay again or even cancel Brexit.

"We can't have that, it fundamentally weakens our negotiating position, which is why, with respect, I think the rebels this week were wrong."

He said his government were looking to negotiate a deal with the EU, despite Amber Rudd's claims, but what they were proposing would not be written down anywhere through fear of leaks.

"We are slightly wary of putting things on pieces of paper that could be leaked to the other side."

...............................................

Here we go again we can't reveal our hand even to ourselves or for that matter the EU?
Result:............................................ Silence..................no negotiations..........

If Boris sends a letter to the EU along the lines of.

Dear EU
I have been forced by law and against my wishes to ask for an extension till
January 2020.
Nothing has changed Re the backstop and never will.
As far as I'm concerned you can stick your extension where the sun doesn't shine.
So can we have an extension or not? (I hope not)
Kind regards
Boris.

How could the EU grant any extension with a letter of such tone.

They could easily outsmart him with a letter like this
Dear Boris,
We are aware of your situation, and bearing in mind that you are no longer controlling events we are prepared to grant the extension and look forward to dealing with your successor in the office of Prime Minister.
Do give our regards to your friends Mr Putin and Mr Trump, their efforts to use you to damage the EU have come to nought.

ps: we enclose a Whoopee cushion for your comfort when you are on the backbenches of the House of Commons again.

Regards

Dunno, our resident Scottish Yorkshireman from Humberside will know, tha knows.
Nice try Zlatan, but too subtle for southerners to understand the jibe y'ken?
The answer depends on which part of Scotland, some say "ye" some say "tha" and in Scots Gaelic its "thu"

Comment in the Guardian
Is Iain Duncan Smith the Brexit bogeyman?
Stewart Lee
The Leave cheerleader was caught on camera indulging in some strategic snacking
Everyone will have the food they need,” declared Michael Gove to Andrew Marr last Sunday, denying both the lies of Project Fear and the hysterical, biased, ill-informed and suppressed research of his own department.

On Tuesday, as the Commons camera drifted past Ken Clarke, I saw the Brexit cheerleader Iain Duncan Smith picking his nose and eating his own bogeys. Iain Duncan Smith, it appears, will not only have the food he needs, he will also have the food he deserves.

Even if I absolutely wanted brexit, I'd want to chuck BJ out of the country for much of the rest of his government's actions:

London GPs told to restrict specialist referrals under new NHS 'rationing' plan
Plans for new cuts sent same day Boris Johnson reinforced NHS spending commitments

Boris is going down big in Canada

How bad is Boris Johnson? We can’t even find the words
British politics today is what results from the collision of an unstoppable force, an immovable object and a clown car.

The unstoppable force is the dominant faction of Britain’s Conservative Party, which insists on not just an exit from the European Union, but the most catastrophic exit possible. It’s a plan for national self-defenestration. The immovable object is reality – the reality that a no-deal Brexit will play havoc with the economy and hurt real people; the reality that a majority of Parliament and the people will not back it; the reality that the Brexit-at-any-cost crowd can’t press the detonator without majority approval.

And the clown car is Mr. Johnson.

From the end of the linked article:

But the position of Mr. Johnson’s new government is that since Britain voted for the idea of skydiving, then skydiving there must be. On Oct. 31, Britain has no option but to jump out of a plane, parachute or no parachute.

That’s democracy, right?

My father received a golden caterpillar with ruby eyes because he bailed out in an emergency (from a Lancaster coming back from a bombing run over Germany). There won't be any caterpillars for the rest of us - even if we somehow find a parachute, sorry, dirty hankerchief.

In the Telegraph they are clutching at straws
Boris Johnson draws up plan to legally stop Brexit extension if MPs vote against general election

Boris Johnson has drawn up plans to “sabotage” any Brexit extension without breaking the law, the Telegraph has learnt.

It means Monday’s vote on a general election is the “last chance” for MPs to block a no-deal Brexit, the Government believes.

The Prime Minister’s key advisers held a meeting on Sunday to thrash out a strategy to scupper Parliament’s efforts to force a three-month Brexit extension if no new deal is agreed.

One plan under serious consideration would see the Prime Minister send an accompanying letter alongside the request to extend Article 50

..................
As I posted yesterday the EU are likely to point out that he is not actually in charge of events and grant it on the basis of the fact that once it has been revealed what he had done ,they expect to be dealing with his replacement!
