I think you might be overstating the difficulties the EU has with 1 and 3 above. SNCF,and DB still exist. It i do not think the EU has any difficulty with community owned resources. .
it's difficult for any local government selling state owned companies and retaining some control like we did with Lloyds bank.
Imagine JC setting up a national investment bank under the DFI, buying back electricity, water and rail.

Or because life is not just about the job you have. Or that they don't believe the scare-tactics that a vote for Brexit necessarily means they lose their jobs.
Correction as to :
..they didn't believe what was put to them as scare tactics ,......
The unpleasant fact is that it was not a scare tactic,it was a realistic assessment on what was probable, and events are showing that that assessment was accurate.
I can agree with you that there is more to life than ones current job. But without a job or more properly, the income ,many of these life choices are limited.

Deary me. The racist argument is back.

Try and get a new one guys. You do know the definition of madness right?

I had a gatt gun and a Webley hurricane btw.
I agree, the racist argument isn’t very attractive and I dislike unnecessary use of the term.

I may act a bit stupid on here, but I’m not daft and with a bit of trial and error, I have navigated my way through life with reasonable success. The mistakes I’ve made in the past, and what I have learnt from those mistakes, is telling me that Brexit is the wrong path to follow at this time.

I think most Brexiteers are accepting that a hard Brexit is going to hurt, make us poorer, cost jobs etc. So what is it you want from Brexit? You can’t be heading into it with nothing more than a hope that something better than the current situation will prevail? Can you? To do so would be the very definition of stupid. Not racist, plain stupid.

Still evading the issue, so what is the motivation behind Brexit?
You don't know, do you?

Scare tactics? in other words they think they are safe in their jobs, is that what you are saying?
And what else could they have wanted?

The EU isn't heading in a direction I'm comfortable with. It really is as simple as that. They won't change so we need to.

As I've said all along though. We won't be allowed to leave so it's all rather moot. I'm still looking forward to the way they will justify the second referendum and all the chaos and ramifications that will ensue.

The simple fact is the vote should be respected. If it is the disaster the squealers predict then we simply rejoin and take the Euro. That should be the question on the next inevitable referendum. Join the Euro or leave. That will sharpen the senses.

How tangled was the web
reality may be a lot simpler than that. Leave's message was simple, to the point while remain's message was trying to explain why we should not change. No wonder Leave's message has more hits.
As Reagan once said, if you are explaining, you are losing.
Remain's message should be like Vince Cable's 'bollxxxx to brexit'.
Simple, to the point.

In what way will their life outside of work be enhanced by Brexit? Those who take holidays in the EU will be inconvenienced and even the leave brigade are admitting that there will be a number of years of being worse off before it might get better.

Or that they don't believe the scare-tactics that a vote for Brexit necessarily means they lose their jobs.
If those car workers don't believe their jobs will be at least threatened outside of the EU, they can't be very bright.

That doesn't follow. ATM we are constricted by the EU rules. Take the steel firm recently. My take is the owners are dodgy and need to go but if they weren't and needed support then we would be able to give them that support. Financial or otherwise. Ironically the French government has just helped their steel sector with massive loans. Go figure.

As for the cars we can work on a zero percent tax for the manufacturers. There are a myriad amount of ways we can use our freedom to better our situation.

Europe is not the only market in the world. It's more convenient but does the convenience match the hoops we have to jump through?

And holidays is a rather poor example. It's already agreed that we will have unrestricted travel.

Sorry, don't agree.

Leave won because Leave meant change.

Remain lost because it was no change.

Since any electorate is never satisfied with what they've got and always want change, the outcome was pre-loaded, especially with the austerity we were enduring leading to demands for change.

Exactly, we can do the same. The problems of EU membership are largely imaginary, such as the claim that we are prevented from trading worldwide. Germany, Sweden, Denmark, France, The Netherlands, Italy and others do so without any problems. Where we don't is because we are just not good enough, nothing to do with EU membership. That's how I know Brexit will fail, leaving the EU won't magically make us good enough,

As for the cars we can work on a zero percent tax for the manufacturers. There are a myriad amount of ways we can use our freedom to better our situation. Europe is not the only market in the world.
We won't be able to sell those cars across the world, those mainly Oriental manufacturers have that covered already from cheaper sources, our car factories only came into existance to supply this barrier free EU area. Even the European makers have production facilities in other parts of the world to supply those local markets.

To sell elsewhere we'll need our own home owned successful car brands.

They'd already expressed satisfaction with what they had in their home rule referendum, so the dictum didn't apply there to sufficient degree, enabling Remain to succeed. Scotland v England also came into it.

Breaking the result down into smaller areas can always produce some opposing results, you could have done so elsewhere too, but overall it was as I posted in this all UK referendum.

Why do you have to "Justify" another referendum? the previous one has been outdated by events, and the only reason another one is resisted is the fear of leave voters they will lose.
They should be making a case FOR Brexit not burying their heads in the sand.

If they do lose, or if they win, provided fiddling is excluded this time democracy will have been seen to be done.
In the light of much more information than the lies and false promises Farage and co still bandy about.
Why are you against democracy? why the lack of confidence? it should be a walk over for you if your argument is sound
The truth is you know the game is up, don't you?
