If Brexit was such a good idea surely the advantages of leaving should have become more obvious and us Remainers would have supported it.
But the opposite has happened it was a bad idea and has become a worse idea. Even Leavers are admitting that we will be poorer after leaving.
So why are we brexiting?
KudosDave
Choose one of the below

Because Vladimir has indicated he will be a tad miffed if his money was wasted, and might react in his usual fashion with some unexpected little gift?

Alternatively our so called friends across the pond have offered some goodies if they can buy the NHS and sell us Chlorinated Chicken and Hormone contaminated Beef?

Or perhaps because Offshore bank accounts must be protected?

And workers rights benefits and safety standards can be junked

Or of course you can perm any of the four

One of the sound bites of Brexit was ‘bring back control’
It is ironic that currently the EU seems to have more control over us,TM having to plead with them to get an Art 50 extension, the length of which is the EU’s choosing.
KudosDave
we can always rescind A50.

And another lie is exposed
As we saw here with that same "information" wilfully posted without any source identified.

This continual lying is being orchestrated and stoked. Which is very concerning should a second referendum, confirmatory or otherwise, be held. In fact, it is concerning that so many people seem to be willing to repeat outright lies.

A soft Brexit kicks the can down the road for another decade. I would rather a clean Brexit or greater Eunification.

A new referendum. Join the Euro or leave and just trading partners would work for me,

Edit. I’d take the Euro option if it was voted for though. I wouldn’t vote for it but I’d accept it.

that may be the best way out.
the margin in the last referendum was so small, we shouldn't rush ahead to unpicking 47 years of gradual integration (Eurovision, Channel Tunnel, EHIC, CU, SM, free roaming), and proceed with extreme caution as a stop loss policy.

edit:
and I forgot to add General Data Protection Regulation, taxing the internet giants and tackling fake news.

The Express admits that the Public will reject Brexit with this headline
"
Brexit is ‘SLIPPING AWAY’ May in urgent warning UK heading for second referendum
MINISTERS fear that Brexit is “slipping through their fingers” with the chances of a second referendum rapidly increasing.

Fantastic! they are pushing this as a loss already?
Why do they want Brexit when they believe a majority of the public will reject it , and see no irony in this position?

Lord Nigel speaks out on the WTO position on banning smoking from the Vatican
Note: inside the tiny Vatican state.
A bit of perspective for those complaining that this infringes individual choice etc : Vatican city is the smallest "state" in the world, with an area approx 110 acres and population less than 1000. The have banned the *sale* of cigarettes. There are no border controls with Italy

Ask yourself, do I believe this cretin, or the people who eradicated Smallox?

look at the result of the by-election in South Wales last Thursday. Conservatives share of the vote down 8%. That will kill brexit if the trend is confirmed in the next GE.
Voters have never been better informed about excesses of both ERG conservatives and JC's socialist party.
Current polls put the share of votes of the two leading parties to 65%, down from 86% in the last GE. I am pleased with the progress toward a more consensual politics.

Ukip's share of the vote increased in the by election. I wish you were right. Im afraid it may be a more fragmented divisive politics. Im coming round to corbyn's point of view, that the public should be excluded from this inflamed process for a while and hoc deal with brexit.

(Wasn't this from November 2017? Or has it been resurrected?)

Just wondering how they will ever again elect a new pope? ;)

Isn't the decision one for the Vatican alone? They have "control" and "sovereignty" - so up to them. If they have decided to follow advice, it is not up to Fromage to mock them, dismiss them, and insult them.

Did rather like this response (among many which were varyingly humorous):

The WHO also said you shouldn’t take your toaster into the bath. Just ignore them Nige

Ukip's share of the vote increased in the by election.
ukip: up 6.1%

Plaid: up 2.5%
LibDems: up 2.4%
Greens: up 2.8%

anti-brexit total: 7.7% against 6.1%.
The most notable feature is total vote of the two major parties: 71%, down 20.7%.
That means hung parliament at the next GE.
