from the BBC:
The DUP will not support a Brexit deal which could lead to any new checks on goods coming into NI from elsewhere in the UK.
Arlene Foster should have told BJ this to his face.

I think the DUP are rapidly becoming irrelevant and can be ignored.
Hard brexit has had it's day.

In all humility, my arse.

Johnson listed his achievements as mayor of London, a reminder to colleagues of his ability to win over a predominantly liberal electorate, and a retort to the chancellor, Philip Hammond, who had suggested his greatest success to date had been the “Boris bike” cycle-hire scheme.

Somehow missing pretty bridges. Oh, of course, that bridge is still missing - with many millions of pounds.

Somehow missing his bus fiasco.

Somehow missing landlords in his London Rental Standard scheme.

Somehow missing the extremely popular cableway.

Only to be expected when you do a deal with the devil. There's an old saying that goes like this:

'If you dance with the devil, then you haven’t got a clue, for you think you’ll change the devil, but the devil changes you.'

Once again, this is an example of the tail wagging the dog!

This is straight of of Horror fiction! is this imbecile really supposed to represent the interests of this country and negotiate with the EU.

Putin will be posting this idiot his "Order of the Russian Federation Medal" any time now.
Give the job to Farage, he started the trouble and we might as well die laughing

Here's a better one, you just have to slot in the Tory players named in this tragi comedy, and fits nicely with the view that the Conservative Party is parasitic in nature.

"Big Fleas have little fleas upon their backs to bite 'em
And little fleas have smaller fleas
And so ad-infinitum

An alternative last line would I feel match better

"I enjoy watching the Bas*t*ds bite 'em"

People seem to have forgotten where the idea of a London bike hire scheme came from? The tory media coined the phrase, 'Boris bikes' although the deal was initiated by one, Ken Livingstone, who obtained the sponsorship of Barclay's bank and this denial of Livingstone's contribution has been very deliberately perpetuated ever since, such is the hatred for socialism ingrained in the tory DNA.

Ms Foster has achieved the impossible. She has succeeded in uniting not only all the political parties south of the border, but also has succeeded in getting the official unionist party, in agreement with Dublin. To achieve unity between SF, FF, Labour, SDLP, Workers Party, UUP ,take a rare political skill. ..

Speaking to MEPs in Strasbourg, Timmermans said he was astonished by the failure in the UK to see the importance of EU membership to keeping the peace in Northern Ireland.

The former Dutch foreign minister told MEPs: “How is it possible that people coming from the UK maintain that there is no link between union and the Good Friday agreement. The European Union is an integral part of the success of the Good Friday agreement.

“It would not have been possible without the European Union. The Good Friday agreement was one of the most historical achievements … We are all responsible for maintaining that legacy and preventing the island of Ireland from going to a past that I knew as a young man.”

TM's proposed concession on Irish backstop but is this enough for JC to help TM out?
de facto customs union and remain in EU's VAT system.

No, just a temporary fudge and investment in Systems is not credible, they have a terrible track record on both investment and Systems!

the fundamental issue of brexit is how much frictionless trade with the EU is worth to the UK economy. It is clear that the EU won't give the UK a frictionless trade after brexit except in NI, regardless who is PM.
