Brexit, for once some facts.

As a Londoner I find him almost as ineffective as the buffoon tbh.
To this fellow Londoner he's certainly more in the background than either Ken Livingstone or Boris Johnson, but I'm prepared to await the outcome before judging.

As each day passes, 'Brexit' increasingly looks like it is coming apart at the seams.

Matt Kelly, editor of 'The New European', tweeted that Boris Johnson is looking to salvage his career in politics by finding a way to dissociate himself from the mess of 'Brexit'.

This is Kelly's tweet:

Matt Kelly is the Editor of the The New European. Other sources connected with Boris Johnson’s wife, who he is now divorcing after another alleged affair, have been reported to confirm the story.

Peter Hitchens, he without a friend in the whole world, has said something useful for once so his observational acuity must have improved!

that's rather empty rhetoric, there is not much risk of that in the UK. The real danger is the suppression of the middle ground politics.
You can in fact find your own echo chamber whenever you want.

he does look good in that yellow bikini
Trouble is the balloon is so poor that it doesn't look remotely like him. As a stunt it was a damp squib, nobody around when it was flown knowing who it represented. A waste of a lot of contributed money.

To cover their disappointment they are thinking of sending it around provincial towns now, an even dafter idea. If it wasn't recognised in London it will have provincials completely baffled.

The gist of the link is showing on screen in your post now Tom, so I've deleted my Broken Link post.

Saw this on the BREXIT EXPOSED web page but couldn't find the way to actually cast a vote.

POLL

As one privately admits he ‘deeply regrets’ and ‘f*cked up’ by supporting Brexit and the other says he wants all EU nationals in Britain and all UK nationals in the EU to lose their existing rights, we ask:

Which one of these Brexiteers is the most despicable?

(Sorry, you don’t get easy choices on BrexitExposed).

When I saw this half an hour ago, the running tally in percentage terms was 26% for the member representing clowns and 74% for the member representing the 1800s.

The dumbing-down of society reaches a new low as
further evidence emerges of the country’s descent into insanity as it is revealed another woman was prepared to have sex with Boris Johnson:

Read somewhere that a web security company maintained that 17 million people had suffered some sort of maligh activity online.

And this wasn't to do with Brexit........Hmm..coincidence..............

What I find alarming is that hundreds of organisation seem to have crawled out of the woodwork in the last ten years, and purport to be on the side of the Angels, even going so far as to form themselves into umbrella oganisations like this one

https://www.iwf.org.uk/become-a-member/join-us/our-members
"
The internet Watch Organisation

We represent the companies that are defining how the world tackles online child sexual abuse.

More than 130 companies are Members of the IWF, including some of the giants of the internet world, through to smaller filtering companies. What unites them, is their commitment to do the right thing.

Our fee structure has been decided by our Members, for our Members. IWF membership fees since 1 April 2017 range from £1,040 to £78,030 GBP."

Who are they monitored and checked for veracity by?
Where the safety of the public is concerned, that is what we have a Government for, surely, not some dodgy private Quango not accountable to the public.

It's simply essential that quangos, fully funded by government and quasi-quangos, funded via subscription, exist, otherwise there would be no job opportunities for all those tories too ugly to stand any chance of winning a selection contest to find a suitable candidate for any parliamentary seat.

The media is awash with them, the charities can't take any more otherwise their prices would be on a par with M&S and there is only so much taxpayer cash available at the BBC so they need to go somewhere.

Simples!

Last evening, the constituency Labour Party of Enfield North, showed just what can be achieved if people get off their backsides and exercise the democratic process at local level.

The pro-Israel sitting MP, Joan Ryan, lost a vote of confidence due to her disgraceful, fabricated attack on a Palestine Solidarity activist, Jean Fitzpatrick.

Recent events have caused many to believe that the Labour Friends of Israel group is a damaging 'fifth column' within the party and I agree with that view. Surely, never in the history of British politics has there been such an orchestrated and sustained attack against both the party and its leader as we have witnessed since Jeremy Corbyn became leader?

A report can be read here:

There is a rather Pathetic response from the Telegraph on Saturday morning as expected
RevealedIranian activists infiltrated Labour and were able to vote in pro-Israel MP's no-confidence ballot

It appears in the Daily Mail as well
"
Iran has 'infiltrated' the Labour party claims party's pro-Israel group leader and fierce Corbyn critic after journalist casts ballot against her in constituency no-confidence vote and films the meeting for banned state broadcaster

So the "Infiltration was one voter and one Vote...Glory Be, compare that with the pro Israel lobby with the Tory party!
And look who made the claim and what they represent!

So israeli activists are OK to run and direct the Tory party policy , but no one else as any rights? is that it?
Do you now have to be approved by the right wing press, and Israel too, to have any voting rights in this country?

most of the media (and myself) underestimate Dominic Raab.

He managed to get Michel Barnier to accept that there is a link between the political declaration and the settlement of the divorce bill.

Barnier:
"We may work on a possible link. I don't know what legal form that will take but there may well be a link.".

Remainers should stop competing with brexiters on who is most against TM's Chequers proposals.
In effect, that's the only positive plan that the conservatives can put up without tearing their own party apart. If implemented, it's not far off a customs union.
