it fits in to the casing on the right hand side and goes over the shaft so should be easy to replace.

the other side will need a complete strip down.

Just to clarify for anyone reading this. A "MAX" bearing is a bearing with no cage to hold the balls and therefore can carry more of them. It has about 40% more strength than a cage bearing but is designed solely as a high load pivot bearing. It is not designed to go round and round.
If this bearing is used in a crank or for a motor, the ball bearings just continually crash into each other and rub against each other causing damage and wear and will fail prematurely.
MAX bearing on the left below, cage bearing just below that.

Have you read the thing I did on SES bearings? If anyone buys an SES bearing from me, I pre-pack the bearing with marine grade waterproof grease.

i do pack them with grease but they still dont last long as i have to be complicated and run 2 front sprockets.

because of this the ses wheel has to move left and right so imo putting more stress on it than normal.

Nice bike and setup The side load shouldn’t be a massive issue for the bearing. I guess it wears the sprocket a little quicker?
Have you tried a bearing with LLU seals and definitely smear the silicone on the outside from time to time. I was doing a bearing every 200 miles and now I’m getting 8 or 900 miles.

The LLU bearings are easy to find if you want a MAX but as we know that won't work! I am going to see a bearing supplier tomorrow morning. I will pick some up if they have stock. If you send me your details, I'll send you one to try. It's worth it for that sprocket link you posted, I got to get me one of those :)

lol ;) tho on haibike you need to put a brass washer on the ses bolt to allow it to move a bit.

imo without one it will wear out the ses teeth faster and a bearing is way cheaper to replace than that at 40 quid;)
