Just check the steerer is long enough for your bike head tube, and it's unthreaded and whether tapered or straight (match with existing fork on bike)...some forks use post mount disc caliper mount or older style IS mount ( you can get adapters) . Apologies if this is teaching you to suck eggs!!
You could look at a short travel (50mm) air fork..might throw the geometry out a bit but will give a plusher ride up front if that's what you prefer...not easy to find though or cheap in 700c guise, but plenty of choice and cheap if you.opt for a coil shock fork
Its this one im thinking of

I've a number of IS to PM mounts from bitd. All my brakes now are PM, but always worth keeping the old stuff, you never know when you'll find a need. Thankfully I'm ok in that department.

Not sure if any Bosch battery can be counted as a bargain, but very reasonable £349 for a 500wh rack battery:

Delivered next day (they'd said 2-3 days).

Trailer lovers look in, £48 after discount code FLASHSALES25 added

That's maddening! I paid full price for mine! Admittedly, full price isn't hundreds of pounds for a Carry Freedom, so it's ok. :) That's a great deal because Homcom trailers will last for years if looked after: sturdy steel construction, can be disassembled for flat storage, and not just in flats, but you might get a flat because the tyres are noname nylon rubbish - when those tyres fell apart, I replaced them with Schwalbe Black Jacks. Inner tubes were also noname rubbish.

In addition to the usual online platforms, there's:

I almost bought a full sus bike for a tenner the other week. Trouble is, most sellers offer pickup only, so like ebay, many bargain bikes are miles away. What's worse is, location of the bike for sale often isn't listed and you have to ask the seller if you're interested. Saw some bike trailers on Vinted too, helmets and other cycling gear, audio gear, cameras, photography lighting, other electronic gubbins and assorted other stuff. The search function isn't very good. There are also ebikes for sale. I doubt buyer protection is up to ebay standard, so beware buyer. The site isn't designed to sell bikes and ebikes etc. I think people are doing so because of ebay's listing fees.

So much less nerve-racking buying bikes and bike trailers on ebay. Facebook, Gumtree etc. sellers want payment in cash, and quite often they don't reveal their address, if indeed they turn up at a meeting location at all... if they do turn up and are out to mug you, what evidence can you produce for the cops they can act on after the fact? If you ring their phone, it could be a fresh unregisterd SIM with no credit, pretty much untraceable. If they provide an address and you meet outside, they could live somewhere else. What if you end up stung for buying stolen goods? You want verifiable proof you bought it in good faith. I'm trying to buy a Gumtree bike right now, and who the heck knows what will happen - haven't heard back from the geezer yet, said he was on holiday last week, might return today. I've said I want to meet at a train station (cameras), and I want a written receipt, also a call TO my phone. Mind you, he could top-up using a false name and cash to make a call, therefore not traceable. The same bike costs £175 more on ebay.

The previous versions with the nearly horizontal cross-bar are much better because there's more space for the battery and they don have the splayed chainstays that prevent the higher gearing that you need for an electric bike.

There are other models that share the same frame. I have both the Carve and the Element:

Some good Bosch battery deals current(no pun) on Merlin cycles.

Though this is about the best deal out there at the mo - Probably one of the best forks on the market and 1/2 price.
MRP Ribbon Coil usually best part of a grand, now at £500 available in both 27'5 and 29er with a range of travel and offset. Max price depending on which combo is 575, but still seriously amazing price.

Also Merlin has shim' xtr disc brakes F&R at £249. Normally these are 200 a pop, so a hell of a saving.
