A question arises...

How many fattened pigs
What sort of fattened pigs ?

Porky pigs, or the type of fattened pigs seen during the hours of darkness outside city centre night clubs that are waiting to get a chill in their kidneys

If anyone ever tries to tell me that the art of salesmanship is dead.. I shall inform them that there is proof that its alive and well at CYCLEZEE LTD :D
Ha Ha Dave,

You should meet my cousin from Dumfries, now he is a salesman, oh, and incidentally, his name is Anderson;)

I know of one that has a 'supply and hire' business not far from me, if its that one then I wholeheartedly concur as on previous visits I've seemed to spend more than I intended (got very good value .. just seemed to upgrade on what I originally thought I wanted when I went in..lol)

How many fattened pigs would I need to give to buy an eZee Sprint GTS 8?
Not very many pigs at today's prices Tony, I will give you an accurate figure when I have been to Penrith auction;)

On the subject of bartering, I was almost tempted to take a Daihatsu 4x4 in exchange for a battery last week, it would have come in handy for transporting the pigs:eek:

No that is not the one Dave....as far as I am aware, Anderson is not an uncommon name in Dumfriesshire, he is semi retired, but still has his fingers in several businesses as diverse as commercial property, kilts, etc., Does that give you a clue?

Thinking of going for one of these: TONARO bikes cannot make my mind up on the: Bighit or Enduro - both look about the same to me - any owners out there can give me any ideas which is best... thanks in advance...

roadster,

With our poorly surfaced roads, I would definitely recommend the Bighit with full suspension against the hardtail Enduro.

Your derriere will thank you for this choice.

I have a Tonaro Bighit (which I think is good value in this price range and mine has been excellent and given great service) and I sometimes ride it over some fairly rough ground and find it comfortable enough - though I haven't ridden an Enduro to compare. Evidently the welds are not to some people's liking and this may or may not destroy the riding experience for you. Just saying like.

I have just commited (or should I be commited?) to buying a Bighit. I've been lurking here for a long time and gathering info based on the rich seam of knowledge, now going powered. I hope I won't be dissapointed with the Tonaro (it appears to be well regarded) even if it is in silver, the Yellow ones have gone and although I'd prefer black I guess a saving of £400 cannot be ignored.
I'll write up a review after it arrives but am intrigued by a mention of de-restricting the speed sensor???
With regard to upgrades, do owners on here change any of the standard components (saddle would be first on the list) and is not having a throttle a big downside or could this be easily retro-fitted?

There's a magnet on one of the spokes on the rear wheel which passes a sensor on the frame. If this falls off and you lose it then the bike tends to go a fair bit faster and it is very difficult to source a replacement. I have looked in Topshop, River Island, Boots, Aldi, and my local Spar. None of these stock such an item.

Disappointing really. Might have a wander into Marks and Sparks, see if they stock it.

Hi Baldylox,

Congrats on your imminent arrival :)

Regarding restricting the speed sensor...this is a small round 'thing' on your back spokes....just unscrew and remove it and the bike will not stop assisting at 15mph but carry on till around 17/18mph I think it is.
Easy peasy and well worth doing as if, like me, you are usually cycling at over 15mph it stops the motor irritatingly cutting out lol

Throttles are an easy retro fit.....if you know what you are doing.....and yes, not having it is to me and most others a big downside....it is after all a USP of the Tonaros that they are unique having this throttle with a crank motor.
