i got a funny feeling that the caps in the inverter are going bad as every pc power supply i have had has not lasted more than 10 years and as this thing is in the attic hot cold ect i think it is on its last legs, or it is just crap.

Solar installer reprimanded by council after ‘hiccups’ led to potentially misleading marketing

A Liverpool-based solar installation firm has been reprimanded by Stroud District Council for distributing potentially misleading advertising material.

well that is bs as spoken to a few ppl down our road now and no one from lcx has ever been to service anything even the number for them is wrong on the council web site.

there are no service records as with the boiler and electric we sign for it every time it is checked and a sticker with name of person and date it was done.

these things are going to burn ppls houses down if it lets rip under load and the caps explode

That meter looks all wrong.
When I had my solar installed I had an old fashoned meter like that, though in much better physical condition. I happened to be taking a meter reading one sunny day and noticed that the meter was turning backwards. This is well known with the old fashioned wheel type meters. It took me 9 months of harrasment to get the meter changed to a digital (non smart) one. This is the responsibility of the supplier to sort out, even if they sub out the actual fitting. It needs sorting because some people have been hit with outrageous estimated bills when the meter is suspect. It should have been done at the time of installation.
Secondly it is incumbent on the supplier to provide a safe meter, generally it's thought they should be changed every 20 years, thought there is no requirement. Looking at the stae of your meter I think there's a strong case to be made that it's beyond it's safe life. I would also want it's enclosure checked out for weather proofness.

nothing wrong with the meter as got bills under control bar this old inverter asked lcx for all service records from the last ten years and dont have any, cant kick this can down the road anymore its out of its service life.

You have an Owl setup monitoring yor generation, I have the same and have been using it for 12 years. Nearly all of your pictures are showing no generation. You either have the CT incorrectly installed, not plugged in properly, the battery in the transmitter is low or incorrectly configured in the software. Other possibilities are, you are growing too much cannabis, your mum has left the immersion heater on or you are actually using more than you produce some other way.
Actually looking closer at some of the pics it shows no import, maybe a problem with your Owl.

it is all brand new with new batts and all installed per instructions with 3 clamps 1 for main power and other 2 for live inverter cable.

no matter what i do it is consistently shite on export dont forget this thing is 10 years plus in my attic and never been serviced at all as there are no records for them anywhere as lcx dont have any the council dont have any and the fkn menu is password locked on the inverter.

i just dont want it to blow up and burn my house down lol, and every one says there useless lol.

There is nothing to service. Still think you have a problem with your Owl, the lack of import as well as export shows that.

the last 4 days i have been shutting it down at 7pm and back on at 7am and the export has got a tiny bit better but every time it gets a big load and try's to export it it just says nope and shuts it down like a old ebike with voltage sag lol which makes me think the caps in the inverter are shot.

Today's crap generation in UK including power cut, note import, export and generation. These numbers tie up with my generation meter, do you have a generation meter or is it all done electronically by the system owner.
