Great tip about checking the seller's rating first! It can definitely save a lot of hassle later on.
Oh, you're yet another disgusting spambot - reported. You edit in spam when you see your post quoted. I deleted the spam you'd edited in, then noticed you'd reverted your edit to remove your spam link, somehow without altering the timestamp. Sneaky and disgusting.
AliExpress make that impossible for "Choice Delivery" offers, and stuff turns up, turns out ok, so I don't bother checking seller rating anymore, not least because against all expectation, AliExpress refunded me a few weeks ago for a laser printer part, citing my "Good reputation". First I've heard about that lol. Ebay, AliExpress, Amazon etc. would much rather users didn't know too much about sellers. They don't want spanners of user hesitancy being thrown into the works of their money printing machines... so they obfuscate to maximise sales. About 12 years ago, ebay stopped enabling users ranking searches for products by "Top rated sellers". Annoying, but at least ebay seller ratings remain listed next to products, unlike AliExpress, and sponsored ads are marked such, unlike AliExpress.
Depends what you buy, things like music gear, guitar pedals and FX units tend not to be faked and there are some real bargains to be had and they are usually 50-65% cheaper than UK.
I'm wondering how many of those from the "UK" being sold on ebay etc. are simply dropshipped by AliExpress sellers. Sellers say when they're dropship friendly.
You guys know most of it is fake, right?
Hope so, And give AI a lil while and the 1 word 5star reviews will be replaced with increasingly authentic reading fakes too..
I pay attention to the really angry bad reviews, horrific photos are a bonus. So far, I haven't responded to offers for free products in return for writing reviews, largely because I haven't been offered anything valuable enough.
