Can we a useful, ongoing thread for aftermarket gear for BBSxx mid drives ?

I am seeking new crank arms but am only aware of Lekkie Buzz bars which are nice bit pricey !

Other gear I know of are

1. Lekkie bling rings
2. The programming cable
3. The gear shift sensor
4. Eggrider LCD and programmable system
5. lekkie Buzz bars

If that works then perfect ! Much nicer than bog standard but not nearly buzz bar money

Can anyone confirm compatibility?

You haven't been reading my thread in the GSM you naughty person...

Steps cranks might even give you a better Q factor.

Or not closely enough ! However, the steps cranks as the same as recommended by wheelie Pete

And I’ve a gsm on the other bike :)

Worth adding the steps cranks have several versions

Ec6000 have not much Q factor
6010 have more

Maybe others, both come in 170 and 175mm and in grey or black

I’ve just ordered 6010 (25 quid delivered) in black as the 6000 look more or less the same Q factor as bbs stock

I’ll up date this post when received and tested

As promised , new vs old . Very happy as exactly what I wanted . And at 25 quid delivered it’s a bargain. Shame my fav lbs could only get them at 50quid cost let alone with a margin added.

I am pretty sure mine are flatter so must be the 6000 model and they work better with my frame. I will get some black ones for the trike because I want to do a proper PAS disk integration this time.

Depends what your build needs right ? Just thought it worth a mention that shimano do at least two versions. Something for suitable for most (and way cheaper than buzz bars)

I have now used in anger (as it were )

I literally had no idea how much I had sub consciously got used to keeping my feet away from frame side edge of my pedals to prevent ankle strike. I noticed a part of me just switching off about foot position on tricky off-road sections

Really delighted with outcome at the price

I had the exact opposite pleasure of finally getting my knees in nice and close to the frame. Probably get an extra 1.25 km/h going downhill! :D

I think I need to get some of those crank arms. Mainly for looks TBH.

They look way more chunky looking on the bike than standard bafang(which I hadn’t expected )

and a much nicer finish (which I had expected though annoyed I accidentally ordered in.grey)

I didn’t weigh them as such tiny things hold little interest for me in an ebike. I carry between 5 and 10kg backpack everywhere I go !
