Think about buying a Yose power need help guys

I'm putting my older yose 250w front hub on a spare bike with a 48v battery. Will be mostly a backup. Flat tyre mornings ect. Might be good for my son when he comes riding with me. The 48v battery will also fit a step through bike I'm building but will have a different rear wheel hub...

I was also considering the battery required for a 17amp controller vs 15amp.

Think about buying a Yose power need help guys

Reading up I think the Kt 15amp controller works with the 250w motors. Any harm in getting a 20amp controller? Edit Found this. https://www.pedelecs.co.uk/forum/threads/max-amps.35406/ To answer. Maybe. Maybe not. Think I'll stick to 15amps. I'll be running at 48v so I think Ill be better off.

Yose Power Hub- need a new rim!

I'm going to make this wheel dish tool. Although I used 2 bean tins on table and test distance from table to the nut. Seems close enough. I guess it won't be far out using old spokes.

Yose Power Hub- need a new rim!

Update. Tbh I was losing confidence. But... Omg! I've actually done it . I can't believe it!. I got the rim on and dropped wheel in the stand. Gave it a spin and thought I'm in trouble here! Massive wobble right and left by about 25mm. Where do I start? Well I started by looking from the side...

Yose Power Hub- need a new rim!

Hi all. Am I right in thinking I'll never buy a matching spoke nipple? 14.2mm long. 2.5mm thread for a 5mm rim hole. Maybe the best way is to buy a new spoke and probably cheaper. Annoying as I just need one. Also...how do spokes come out? It's detached but I cant get it out at the centre hub...

Yose Power Hub- need a new rim!

I ordered a new park tool spoke key from Amazon that's just arrived and it don't fit. Fits my other bike wheel though. Guess I'll have another go buying a key. I think it's 3.7mm. I need to study how up on spoke nipples and look at options for buying. I just need one

Yose Power Hub- need a new rim!

Update. New rim seems fine. I'm in the process of swapping which is taking time. I'll have another go tomorrow which should see it on. Unfortunately I mangled a spoke nipple so will need to find a replacement.

Nobody has mentioned the new woosh rear hub kit as an alternative. That's worth a consideration

I have two menus on my yose. I read that the 250w now don't have the 2 menus then I read that it actually still has? Not sure what to believe. I can change speed and amps and all sorts in the hidden menu

I fitted the front wheel yose kit. I'd recommend the rear wheel though. For the money it's a good buy at around £400 and a bit cheaper with the discount codes.

25.4mm 1inch steerer forks with disc mount

Update. Bought the 31mm to 34mm SKS mounting clips off Amazon and a really tight fit. Did plan to put rubber under but they are tight so I'll see how it goes. Forks are ok. Not going to be the best but considering the price point and the only option im happy with them

25.4mm 1inch steerer forks with disc mount

Had another play with disc tonight and I think it's ok. Biggest problem is they are definitely junk knock-offs. Getting shards of metal and plastic breaking off. I will burn through pads and get money out of them before upgrading. Ordered some fork straps ( link on other thread here) for forks...

25.4mm 1inch steerer forks with disc mount

Ok. No. I haven't got it correct. I can't see the pads so guessed. Ill have a look tonight again. It's supposed to be ⅓ / ⅔ pad showing but I can't see anything much.

Mine are. Definitely knock-offs calipers. I'll upgrade to hydraulic at some point. Ride in was good though.
