Ok. I'll pick this up when I get that far.
I've got frame. Forks. Front wheel. Derailleur. That's it so far. Waiting for better weather so I can build it outside. Not much room in garage
So its normal for left side.
I think my current setup is left.
I'm still building the bike. Was a second hand wisper step through frame and some original bits.
When I looked at a kit online I seen it with an option to order a left side or right size pas sensor with big hole.
I have no idea what I should order?
Thanks
Interesting thread this.
I have a wisper frame and need to find away of mounting a 48v battery.
Think I'm going to build a rear rack some how with aluminium riveted together.
Don't like the idea of a seat mounted battery as a bit high?
I'm starting to think my Chinese brake pads have contributed greatly to the problem.
The wheel has deteriorated in the last week so I've ordered a new cheap wheel off Amazon.
I'll have a look later at the sizes. Main problem I had was springs stopping the wheel fitting in tight as they sat in gap so I removed them which changed the fitting position
Had to adjust everything after removing springs
I think its standard width and I have a quick fitted ATM. Originally it was nut and bolt which I prefer. Quick release don't sit so well I find as every time I remove wheel the quick release never goes back in the same place.
Hi
Ive decided to buy a new rear wheel.
26 inch. V brake. 6 speed freewheel.
Would any wheel that takes a freewheel work ok?
I've looked online ( not very hard I admit) but I can't find the answer.
Thanks
I've found a thorn in tyre before. I've always checked and glued the hole in the tyye.
I admit to not check patch in water through. I think if it looks good then all is ok and take the chance which explains my failed attempt
I left the patch to dry for an hour while I had tea. Pasta which was nice...I used chalk over then placed it back inside tyre.
Hopefully 7am tomorrow I'll be riding to work with no problems. Was a slow puncture so been adding air every morning.
