If anyone is interested I have a brand new A2b shima battery for sale. These are £650 ish new and will take £475 It's the magnetic connection and not suitable for an A2b Octave (Shima or Alva + only)

Have not made my mind up what battery to have a go at yet. Bought two dead ones off a guy for £25, I had asked for a dead metro internal battery and he sent me two old style metro externals so if i had a go at them i would have nothing to test it on as i have an octave with a magnetic conection...

Anyone know were you can purchase battery cells to refurb yourself? And info on how to identify the cells you are replacing? Any info would be appreciated (complete novice but willing to have a go)

I like the look of the stroma ST2 but I find it hard to justify over my ATB shima that cost me £1800 and is capable of 28mph. Has not the same range though just scraping 40 an a bit miles out of it on the 17amp hour battery. I suspect the stromer is better made. The other thing is you are well...
