Thinking now is it all worth while ?

The difference is you will probably use an electric bike way more than a normal bike, plus don't forget people are way more likely to post about a problem than if they are satisfied so it gives a bit of a false perspective.

    Help! Carrera Crossfuse Hybrid e-bike

That was the Carrera Crossfire not the Crossfuse which uses the Bosch ALP motor, I have had a Crossfuse for 18 months now and covered 1500 miles around the Peak District and it has been excellent,(1) I initially changed the saddle but eventually went back to it,(2) I got some cheap mudguards...

Who is Liable to Exceeding 15.5 mph on an E Bike

Rider. The same as if you were driving a car with a bald tyre for example, the person who is driving is responsible and that person may not be the owner, so as the bike is classed as illegal the person riding would be responsible as they would have no insurance/mot etc.

Cant find any indication of anyone addressing you personally on this thread, so I am not sure why you are being so aggressive. Let alone being rude.

    Power expectancy and Wattage.

As I said before there are plenty of people who have owned Mid-motor bikes and plenty who have owned hub on here who have had no problems and some from each camp who have had problems. You are best reading reviews and posts from people who have actually owned them, personally depending on your...

    Power expectancy and Wattage.

I suggest you speak to people who have owned them and try and get a test ride before you make your decision and that applies to both hub and mid-motor .

Hello Folks (And maybe a little help please....!) :-)

I have no experience of them so am not qualified to answer, I have owned a Juicy Click which was great a Carrera Crossfire which was awful, A Viking folder which was passable and at the moment a Wisper 905se and a Carrera Crossfuse which are both excellent.

Hello Folks (And maybe a little help please....!) :-)

Now that question is a can of worms, you will get people answering that Bosch crank motors are the devil incarnate even though they have never had one and also people swearing by them. Both are good in my opinion ( and I own 1 of each) best bet as I said is to try both out and speak to people...

Hello Folks (And maybe a little help please....!) :-)

As previously stated Woosh are good, also check out Juicy bikes in Disley and also Wisper bikes, regarding the Cube they are pretty popular on here, whatever you do avoid the Carrera Crossfire from Halfords it is plagued with problems, where as the Carrera Crossfuse uses a Bosch motor like the...

Advice about buying an electric bike to transport two children in a trailer

I think your original idea of a trailer is probably the safest idea, due to the fact as you stated before you are not a cyclist so trying to balance a bike with 2 wriggling children sounds a bit precarious to say the least.

Range not as good as I would expect from higher amp hour batteries?

You are the one who misses the point and bothers uninterested people, this topic was about battery range not mid-motors so try and stay on topic.
