    Have I missed anything?

Thanks for being impartial Dave, I'm sure that can't be easy as a retailer. I am planning to visit an ebike retailer in York in early December, they have the Smarta bikes but there are very few steep hills in York. I am also stopping off at Juicy Bikes in Stockport sometimes soon, they are...

    Have I missed anything?

Thanks Trex, is it worth my trying one out or will it need too much assist on a hill for me? The supplier has it down as a hill climber and it is only a 17" frame, which I would have thought would be OK for me. I could drop by Juicy Bikes on the way home as well, and see this...

What are your views on the Smarta LX7 and LX8 here?: https://www.electricbikesales.co.uk/hill-climbers We are visiting York next week and they have a store there. These bikes are down as good hill climbers in the view of the supplier.

    Have I missed anything?

WARNING!!!!! Andy I have just used the Woosh Clearway Predictor on the Rivington route and it's indicating a warning on part of the route with a 15% (1:3.7) on it. I know it isn't always accurate but it doesn't give the BB as an option for that route. I know which part of the road it's referring...

    Have I missed anything?

Happy either Saturday or Sunday Andy but we have transport and would happily come to you if you prefer? Rivington would be a challenge and it's a beautiful run, as you know, but Horwich would see your way to us as well, then either the Ring Rd or for more fun, Scout Rd then Belmont Rd?

    Have I missed anything?

Google maps always takes the fun route! Rivington? Now you ARE talking serious hills! Take a look at it using the Google man. I used to ride a 1200cc BMW bike and came over through Rivington many times, it's a bikers paradise, most of it in 2nd gear though! Easier through Horwich for Andy H.

    Have I missed anything?

I must say I love the looks of the Petite. The only ebike I have ever ridden was at an agricultural show this Summer, a little Benelli bmx style jobby that a cycle hire firm in Lancashire was demoing (is there such a word?!). That may have had even smaller wheels, 20" possibly, but great fun...

    Have I missed anything?

Andy, we are in Egerton, a village north of Bolton. If you know it, aforementioned hill is the road between north Bolton through Darwen towards Blackburn direction (Blackburn Rd, the A666 in fact). If you have been that way, we are near the war memorial. We are about 10 miles from you! I am...

    Have I missed anything?

Thanks for that info. I'm only 5ft 3" so maybe BB is too big for me as well. I'd love to just have a try on one. Good luck with your Santana CD, I envy you!

    Have I missed anything?

One thing I've noticed about the Ezee Sprint is that it only has 3 gears. Isn't that a bit inhibiting when pedalling normally through the gears?

    Have I missed anything?

I tell you what, I would never presume that Andy would let me actually play with his new toy, but I wouldn't mind a look at it. I haven't even seen a woosh in the flesh!

    Have I missed anything?

My head has gone sorta numb with all your replies and suggestions! KudosDave, I am 5ft 3", 63kg and hubby is 5ft 8", 76kg - that's a mixture of new and old money, sorry (I'm a baby boomer which explains the problem). I am still having problems getting my husband past a mid crank drive at the...
