They call it progress through development OG. I suspect the Chinese have built rather more Nuclear Reactors than we have. The have more experience than we do, they also have the benefits of scale. Why on earth would we want to go through the whole process when someone else has already done it...

I'm sort of with you having allowed my MOT to over-run by a week or two. But, they now have Email / Text reminder options, in much that same way our local GP prompts for appointments - that certainly works better for me. Could never find the piece of paper when needed, grant you a Tax Disk is...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

I do find hard to understand how anyone can be so negative as to rubbish anything anyone has to say that is positive. Yin and Yang (Urban) comes to mind or better still, how about this anthem for you to listen to in the morning:

Tom give it a rest - I'm surprised you even bother to get up the morning. Stop trawling for bad news, you'll always find it out there, some truth in it of course, from both perspectives.

and being a member of the EU is the solution then? It would be nice to think that as we were once the 'best' in the World, that we would always remain so. I guess that could have been the case had we chosen to simply rape and pillage but we didn't. We also chose to bring some good to the World...

A question for you then. Are you saying that we are closed to having foreign investment on our shores? We don't want the technology of others, we're not interested in co-operation, we don't want to trade with other countries - in fact we want to stay in a time-warp. To my mind this is the way...

As usual, that really had nothing whatsoever to do with with the post. It was just an opportunity to snipe. I had asked him to explain himself not use it as a vehicle to insult, only for you to pick it up and run with it. Here is the original post This am on the today programme labour's shadow...

    Oh dear - wrong again!

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Oh dear, any thoughts of bon-homme on here were soon dashed. Another load of garbage insults. Where on earth where you dragged up? No P&Q's in your lonely life that's for sure!

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Perhaps you could explain it to us then? Not sure if that was supposed to be funny, if so - it wasn't!

He might be, but as someone fairly familiar with the US system, that doesn't seem to be the case over there does it.

Well there you are, we seem to moved from Mr McDonald to your own opinion? Anyway, I'm more optimistic than you seem to be about the end result. It's always been very clear to me that this was going to be a rocky road with many claims and counter claims along the way. I wasn't quite ready for...

So what? I probably do have more in common with the Conservatives. Shouldn't really concern you and yes, I was deliberate in my use of Conservative.

Not that sure I would agree with Mr McDonald but I certainly don't understand what you write here Steb. Perhaps, I could ask that you rephrase it so that I can at least understand what he said earlier?

Calm down now! I agree with most of the comments but to be fair only Tom seems incapable of accepting other points of view. However, OG isn't far behind. It does become a little tedious and I doubt such conversations would take place face-to-face. Not a bad measure perhaps?

Very funny! I doubt you will find that I said I had never voted Tory? I'm certainly not a member of their, or indeed anyone else's, Party. Not so sure about Tom however, he chose not to answer the question.

The old ones are still the best - and you sure fit the bill Tom.

That, essentially, is what is happening. Into UK law, not EU law. No doubt some will be changed, modified, enhanced or as you say even removed, to better reflect our UK needs.

Would seem someone has a hand up your backside Tom.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Rubbish and a distortion of the facts, as usual. The whole point of this bill is to stop the stupidity of attempting to discuss each and every law. Instead we simply bring everything into UK Law and then discuss. It is certainly not about reducing the rights and the protection of us all.
