Thanks. I charge up the battry in-situ, so I don't think it's that, but I'll check the terminals. I'm going to give the bike a very good clean on Friday and take a look at all the obvious electrical connections. A squirt of grease can't do any harm.

I like having the brake cut out. It means I can change down (derailleur) gears on the approach to a junction whilst gripping the levers just enough to activate the cut out but not enough to apply the brakes. That way the approach to the junction is unpowered whilst I'm still pedalling to change...

I'm still pondering whether to do this, but I thought I'd point out that neither Oxydrive nor Oxygen bothered to respond to my requests for a price, using their web contact forms... Disappointing.

As it happens, both chargers have the same voltage & amperage outputs. The Woosh one is smaller so that'll be the one I take on my summer tour.

Thanks. Is there something in the electronic gubbins in the battery pack that stops overcharging?

My Oxygen battery came with a dedicated charger and both work just fine. I do, however, have a charger left over from when I disposed of my Woosh Sirocco and its battery. Would I be able to use the Woosh charger to charge the Oxygen battery, or are there risks involved?

If riding at speed in the dark, I use decent lights that don't flash. Drivers then think you're a motorbike - until it dawns on them that you're not, but by then they've given way. When the battery is low, the light reverts to flashing mode & then I slow down, as drivers equate flashing lights...
