Brexit is dead. Long live Brexit!

It could be in law by Monday. That law effectively paints them into a corner. If no way forward can be found and we are looking at crashing out, by law they will be compelled to withdraw A50 whether they like it or not. I think the chance of no deal has now gone.

If the EU will not grant an extension to A50, meaning we are on course to crash out without a deal, which Cooper’s law makes illegal, the way we comply with the new law is to withdraw A50. That’s the only legal mechanism open to us now. So our laws have a very big part to play. I think last...

I think quite the opposite. I think the HoL will ratify it quickly. I could be wrong, but we shall see.

I thought the printer had broken? Code E7 - replace toner cartridge. They are still thumbing through the manual and scratching their backsides trying to work it out though.

I saw that article. What is he saying? Is it as obvious as, “we will tell them what they want to hear now, just blag it for a bit, and then as a country, we will go back on our word a bit later on” Very credible, other nations will be queuing up to invest and do business with us. Where do they...

Nooooo. She can’t, really she can’t. Will The Speaker allow it?

I think that option has now gone. Hasn’t Yvette Balls’s bill been passed by one vote which prevents no deal, in law. I suspect that means an extension to A50, as specified by the EU, if they decide to grant one. If the EU decline to grant an extension to A50, I guess that would mean the...

I am no fan of May, in fact I detest her and nearly everything she does. However, I think she is moving in the right direction by talking to Corbyn, but she must be prepared to listen and maintain an open mind. It’s the last two points which I think she will find most difficult to achieve.

I could be wrong, but I sense that there is a shift towards remain amongst the public. I think remain could win in second vote by a greater margin than leave won by during the first vote. It seems as though people now have a clearer understanding of the country’s ability to work and survive...

I’m liking the idea of another public vote. That could sort this mess out rather quickly without a need for negotiations and withdrawal agreements.

I’ve just seen that MP in the TV who was the intended murder victim of a piece of racist scum. She, and other MPs are calling for greater protection. Would that be protection from the police who she and probably other MPs voted to cut back on? Cut backs to the police which have left them...

I think her idea of working together and a cross party agreement is to wear people down until they support her stupid deal. No other options will be up for consideration.

I stopped reading at the point Chris Grayling. Anything after that is bound to be wrong.

As far as pension were concerned, he gave businesses a pensions holiday, allowing them to not fulfill their employers continuation obligations. This created underinvestment in the schemes. Workers & ex workers are still suffering the effects today. Labour, the part for the working man / woman...

I keep thinking about the Gordon Brown years, what he did to pensions & the economy. His sort are great supporters of socialism, right up to the point where they have given everyone else’s money away.

I believe you are right there and the possibility of a Corbyn government is very worrying to me. He will turn the country into a communist theme park.

She will choose no deal rather than accept a solution from anywhere other than inside her own stupid head. That course of action would also fit perfectly and be consistent with her poor judgement.

My guess is because they show very little benevolence or care in any other areas of governance. If there is a cheap and nasty way to make a quick killing, that usually satisfies the criteria of acceptability. The European Consumer Rights Directive is a great piece of legislation and very good...
