My adventures of rear wheel drive trikes have left a mark :rolleyes: even with a diff fitted the rear wheels used to lift on corners

Be aware the if you choose a mid-drive the trike will need to have a rear differential , as fitted in the jorvik oden otherwise it will hate going corners under power. This is the reason most trikes are front wheel powered post a link or pic to your choice But most important try before you buy

The potting in the controller is melted to the pcb its glue like and i could not remove it :oops::oops: my dead spare suffered damage in the attempt.;):confused: Surface mounted devices big fat old fingers bad eyes and the shakes do not help

I wish my bafang bbs01 48v could get near 750watts it cant get above 550watts peak and runs 150 to 350 watts . The firmware is locked at 12 amps my level 9 is equivalent 2 or 3 on the 750 watt set for 25 amps PS the 02 750 watt controller does not fit

The problem is chain alignment versus power delivery, the 750watt can eat a drive train in a couple of hundred miles set at 25 amps and high throttle use, or even snap chains :eek: My cube conversion now has a 250watt bbs01 [previous bbs02 tweaked to the limit ] the drive train is calmer...

Buy cheap buy twice :eek: might have been ok at 15 amps on a tsdz2 but the 25 amps of the bbs02 killed it once the pack had died i stripped it down poor construction ,but the cells seem to be ok so might be a restoration at a later date PS Have just killed the bms in a yose power 13 amp £199...

My experience was 18 months ago took 3 months to arrive and sent to wrong address when i finally tracked it down myself no help from dhgate help desk To add insult to injury the 21700 cell pack died in 9 months needed a new bms , had to diy fix as unable to return it [as was post back to china ]...

The option to change a setting to increase the power up or from the supplied programming is more than a minor problem. This changes the type approved / certified as supplied specification so is between the lines or a grey area. Which would open a big can of worms if investigated and the motor...

Sorry it sold and now lives on a narrow boat

Thats a new version ,have not seen or tried yet but my 42t copy was a tight fit almost rubs the motor case the bottom is a flat type so is the top with no dish at all so its buyer beware if you try either
